What beer are you drinking now? #54

My last final is in an hour. I haven't decided what I'm drinking to celebrate, but I have a Racer X in the fridge. Congrats on being done with finals!

 

Working from home has its perks! Cheers everyone!!! And congrats to all those finishing finals!

We will be hosting another Firkin Party @ Blue Canoe Thursday. The guys from Yazoo are coming down with a twisted version of their Hop Project. The fact that it was brewed using Centennial Hops is all of the mystery I've gotten out of them. Pints will be $5 and you'll get to keep the Yazoo glassware it comes in.

We are planning on tapping the firkin around 6pm. Cheers!!

 

I've considered picking it up in the past but the low scores + high price scare me away.

I look at the Low reviews on all the beer I look at on here -- most of them don't make any sense to me, but everyone's taste is different.

Also, not sipping any beer yet, but am jamming:

 

Today, I celebrate the life of my best friend and best beer buddy, Tucker Redfern, 21, who passed away earlier this week in a car wreck. Normally I would not do such a thing on this website, but being that he was a big beer advocate, I found it appropriate.
Thus, I will start the day with this, one of his favorite beers of 2012, and a great one from SN:

Thanks for all the support guys, it really means a lot to me. Now on to this bad boy, who is by no means a porter whatsoever. Thus far I have been thoroughly impressed with every stout I have had from Jeppe. I am beginning to notice a trend of really good, really sweet stouts from Evil Twin, and I like.

Next up, some homemade apple pie moonshine. Makes you forget your name in a hurry.

 

Well my final is done. Went pretty well I think. Stopped at the store and somehow found BCBCS and WWS. It's turning into a pretty damn good day!
