Good afternoon BA's. It's a scorcher in a lot of areas today. We're at a balmy 93°F in North GA this afternoon. An overcast morning gave us a few hours relief this morning. At least there is a very unusual breeze for this time of year. This is the second of two @Ocalafox sent me. Saved it for this Friday. Attention Please from Bearded Iris. Loaded up with Citra hops. This one is pretty highly rated. Nice aroma and soft mouth feel. It's a little "heavier" than I like my IPAs, but dang fine. Thanks Vann! Cheers all!

Chilling out today. Ran a few miles early this morning until I could feel the wildfire smoke boggin' me down. So without hesitation skated over to my LQ looking for Hammerheart but to no avail. Anyway, my buddy Zach gave me this can of hop fuel last weekend. Fill date: 5/14/21 TG/Lua collab. Very good for sure. Sweet AND sour. 7.8%ABV well hidden. Not as creamy/smooth as Sue. Slightly dry finish. I've not been to Lua in Des Moines but now I wanna go. Look for this one my friends. Cheers! Keep on smiling!

 

With a name like The Beer with the Million Dollar Flavor, it better be good! Man, that looks refreshing!

Finished with walk and jog. Didn't go nearly as far as others might, but still going with a light-ish beer. The classic style is usually a little lighter than this one, I think, but the Elder Pine's Grizzette will work fine. Might consider taking the second half of this pour into the shower...

A couple of weeks ago I was at the La Trappe monastery. Just to buy cheese this time.
Because of lockdowns the monks were left with a lot of cheese that normally is sold to restaurants and pubs. There was a call to the public to come and buy this cheese. No discount by the way.
