I think he was using the "general" you. At least, given your previous comments in this thread, I sure as shit hope so.

Real BA's have at least two of every single bottle release. One to taste, and the other to save/trade for later depending on the results of the first bottle. That's like, rule #1...

I haven't been doing this long but I was doing the same. But lately ive decided life's too short to cellar beer. There's a new beer out every week. Buy it and trade for the beer in other ppls cellars. You have fun looking at your one bottle of every beer. I will be drinking mine with other Real BA's. You guys have a good day. :-)

You did this in an iso thread. I was in the middle of a trade for this when you hyped it too much. Needless to say my tasting group is not getting this. Sry i was just salty. Im over it now. I think. :-)

Wow, ok. That was a joke. I was trying to trade for that myself. Ok guess I must clarify. I don't hype new beers in hoping to increase value so I can trade said beer...guess inside jokes don't translate. Besides that once I don't think I have hyped anything, I usually make fun of hype. Guess you haven't been around long enough.

Not only that, the party bottle from the eclipse release needs zero hype. Apparently you are one of these guys who thinks he is entitle to a bottle because he wants it. I have news for you, a couple of shelf whales is not near enough for an eclipse party release. But I am honored you think one throw away line from me has all that power.

Eclipse is too thin for me I think, either that or the year old EC18 variant I had was a bad bottle. I can't imagine based on that experience, that the addition of coffee would somehow blow my mind.

I have never ever heard of anyone saying the ba eclipse, any variety, is thin. I travel for one release and it is eclipse, so obviously, I like it a lot.

Trolling? Isn't this a forum for discussion? I just find it funny that a throw away line from me caused you to lose out on a trade.

Didn't you have an iso for coffee?...regardless, I have been to two release parties where people were trying 10+ variations, and I have never heard that....of course to each his own. Some people love dark lord, other people think it is horrible. I am sure you can find any number of opinions on any beer. In this case, eclipse is only 10% so if that's what you are talking about, of course it isn't going to compare to bt at 18%.

Having it side by side with non-BA beers at similar ABV's, like Marshal Zhukov or Expedition stout (11, and 10.5%), I'd consider it extremely thin. I'm actually having regrets about buying so much of it from the eclipse futures.

So is this pretty much BA Baller Stout?

Negative. Four base beers aged for 12-14 months, then blended to taste.

Soooo, after all this nerdery in it's purest form (99% of why i stay off of BA) can anyone fucking say if they have actually tried Murda'd Out Stout yet? Looks like a big fat ***** liped NO... Shut up, try it, taste it, enjoy it, love it, or hate it; then argue and move on to the next release... Same fucking song and dance
