I haven't had it enough to say whether this is a good batch or not. But either way, it's first rate.

I really love this beer. I bought another pack on Friday. I can't believe it's still available. When I talk to the owner and brewer they both say, "people don't want to buy a bitter." All they ask for is New England IPAs and Lagers. Bull N Bear has great versions of Kolsch, California Common, Pilsner, Baltic Porter, and ESB and yet walk-ins won't drink them (despite the fact that Summit, NJ is supposed to be so "up scale" and "sophisticated"). It's ironic that they'll drink a far more "bitter" beer if it's called an IPA. I guess I should be happy that there's more of what I like for me. But Jeez, Louise!

My man! Thats why Ive been drinking the shit out of this lately. Its very close to the perfect DIPA. A unique malt and hop profile that no ones been able to duplicate. They just started distro with the 16 oz cans here locally but Ive always liked then12 oz format.

Saint Boniface doesn't make beers that nerds will clamor for, and that's a shame. They make really good beers while bucking the trend of hazeboi culture. This beer, Glasswork, is their absolute best in my humble opinion. I also love 3LB from them, as it hits all the notes of a classic WCIPA. Cheers, advocates!!!

Dark brown body, opaque; thin, light brown head, sticky rings of foam along the glass. Nutty, woody smell; brown sugar scent. Brown sugar and milk chocolate taste seasoned with a nice bit of whiskey; chewing tobacco. Heavy body, smooth and rich; chewy; heavy residual sugar feel; some alcohol warmth cuts through the beer's density.

This is a warm, chewy, and delicious big, dark beer.

Decanted at 62 °F; no bottling date noted on the bottle.
