Helping my buddy build a bar for their house down in DE and using repurposed oak that's 1.5 inches thick (took alot of milling here in the shop to get to this point). Pretty cool but gets tricky when gluing things up on a 6 foot run = have one time to get it right less more work on the back side. Went together better than expected so happy about that. All said, just cracked Numero-el-three-o. Seems really weird enjoying this bready gourd shah when it's still Summer and warm out. @russpowell, I'm crawling on my knees asking for a mulligan!

I'm not on facebook, but since I can see this, I assume I can share and others can see it as well. I posted a few weeks ago about my buddy Fred who passed away, and owned my favorite record store, Allrecords. Love that family, they posted some pictures from the last few weeks. I was only informed of these, after I was at another record store, who the owner was a good friend of Fred as well. He said they posted a nice picture of me and Fred's son, and I was like OK thanks ha. So had to check it out.

I'm the overweight guy in the kind of greenish/turquoise shirt and flat cap talking to Kyle (Fred's son) at the counter.

16 ounce, canned 7/01/21.

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a bright, light golden body with some lacing. Nose of bread, tropical and citrus fruit, with a bit of floral attributes as well. Taste is fruitier than expected from a Kölsch, but quite pleasant with hints of citrus and floral flavors. Nice feel and overall, I'd recommend to those looking for a fairly unique take on the style.
