Thought I was done with beer for the night. Ready to transition to bourbon and/or wine. Wife said have one of these first.

In a sad note, grandfather of my youngest son in law passed away tonight. He is devastated. His grandfather was a role model,to him.

Just finished a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Found at Central Market in Houston.
First time to try it and I enjoyed it. Newbie so not too familiar with style but like art I know what I like. Gave it an adjusted 4.09 score.

That was a gateway craft beer for me (microbrew back then) I would guess in 1992. Along with Anchor Steam. SN is old school legit!

 

This thing is drinking amazingly. It is everything a barleywine should be. I remember when that happened in 2014 I regret not getting tickets for that event.
Sadly everything stone has been doing is making me stray further and further. Ever since IRS went away it left a bad taste in my mouth, but things like this always lead me to the taproom.
