Good Morning advocates! I'm starting the day with Sip of Sunshine, despite the darkness.
It rained most of the night, should clear up as the sun rises. I must ask, What Beer Are
    You Drinking Now?

Ahhh, the BLONDE. One of my very favorite beers.

Cheers ... And enjoy your new surroundings and beers.

    Yep.
Post 7.5 mile tempo run with so-called fartlek bursts (that word always makes me giggle).
N/A Athletic's standard stout. OK, but still like the Untitled Art stuff way more. On to the day...
    Cheers!

Cycle Brewing -- Monday (2021) (American imperial stout with added stuff)

    look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Black hole dark body; extremely lively, fizzy carbonation; no real head although a faint, khaki ring begins to form around the edge of the glass after a few minutes. Pleasant aroma of cocoa, coconut, and a bit of chili pepper. The taste brings out the base beer plus all elements of the adjuncts: sweet maple syrup and vanilla, spicy cinnamon nicely mixed in with chili pepper, milk chocolate and cocoa; slow-burn booziness oozes through the dark malt and vanilla. Heavy body; slick and oily overall; a nice blend of boozy heat and chili pepper burn on the palate.

While not the best Cycle big, dark brew I've experienced, this one is still nice enough. It brings a rich sweetness to the palate offset with a moderate chili pepper heat that adds a nice complexity to the beer.

Poured at 61 F; no bottling date info seen.

Had an easy, early morning bicycle ride with a neighbor (15.6 miles)...after this 'sports beverage', I may go out and try some hill work on the bicycle and try out the Strava app to see what it can tell me about my routes and bicycling efforts (although my inherent laziness goads me to be a slug and stay home, drink more, and not move a muscle - but I hate being told what to do, even when it's me telling me what to do...)...

Wife asked for a mature dessert for friends coming over. Me and Teddy thought these would work, I'll get in trouble but its worth it[IMG]Sickly sweet dessert warrants a dessert beer[IMG]

I guess I used to do that fartlek thing back when I was in the service. I hated running the 5 mile runs we had to do and would always run in bursts coupled with slow trots or walks in between.

Wifey is laying down taking a nap with one of the dogs and I'm enjoying We Are from Stable 12. It's style is listed as Lager-Light. And it's not heavy at 4.5% ABV. But they get a lot of flavor out of that. There's lemony citrus and crackery maltiness. This is a nice one. I rated it 4.1 which was a chunk above its BA average of 3.91.
