What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3209

This Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Milk Stout "Temptress" is strong on the coconut aroma today. Smells like an Almond Joy? Tastes a hint of bitter coffee, chocolate, a hint of sweetness. Extraordinary combination. 11.8% ABV hardly noticeable. It's why I rate this beer with a 5.0. This has aged a little. 2020 VTG. Been blessed to find these on the shelf finally since last year.
And now for some guitar music.

Thanks for the great beer Vann. I would drink this beer every day if I could…meanwhile, it’s hot and humid here, but hey, what don’t I already know, it’s SWFL in August! I’ve got a sh*t ton of cold beer and nothing to do except relax with the dogs and chill…Cheers from St. Petersburg, FL!

 

Last week of my vacation and finally feel like I am relaxing a bit. While the weather in NYC metro is decent (cool, but no more than partly sunny), Perfect Storm, a fruity, NE style DIPA from Tree House Brewing (Charleton, Mass) really did hit the stop today.

Trillium Trailside IPA. When you drink as many DIPAs as I do, you can forget how good a finely crafted single can be. This isn't quite as masterful as the Tree House gems @tasterschoice62 recently sent me, but closer than most. Cheers!

 

Here's a dandy. Terrapin Hopsecutioner IPA with a well cloaked 7.3%ofthegoodstuff.
Drink by: 10/29/21 A lovely juicy, clean, soft and fruity brew.
6 hops but just enjoying and not breaking it all down. It's great!

Hubbard's Cave Coco Van Imperial Pastry Stout, 12% ABV. Another decadent Imperial Pastry Stout from one of my favorite breweries. Hope we get distribution here some day.

 

Enjoying Triple Citra Daydream by Other Half. Soft mouth feel, slightly boozy, with a nice citrus tropical fruit taste and aroma. Cheers all!

New Image Paul (pale ale).
At least it's a real beer. And from the can, the "Heady-Lite" impression is even stronger. Huh.
Intriguing... still not my favorite but I like what they are trying here. Gotta give it up for New Image on their distro and freshness... one of the few CO places NOT delivering dated beer-turds.
