    Alright, will try this again. Another "all nighter", just popped open something light. Looking to pick up some beer, to go and possibly a few drafts.

    @Danmullens1 - The pew pew pew beer can art made me crack up. Need to check out Karben4, perhaps I'll get to the festival next year and hit both.

    Two big Jazz birthdays featured this overnight. The first honor's @Ocalafox 's Dad's favorite artist on the 120th anniversary of his birthday in 1901.



    The second, the 100th anniversary of Herb Ellis' 1921 birthday.

    Good morning BAs! Massive thunderstorms struck the peninsula this morning about 5am and upset the puppy…had to wait until 8am for a break in the rain to walk the dogs…now for some coffee - Westbrook’s “Mexican Cake”:

    Purchased at the brewery 7/31/21. Canned 5/28/21. Poured at 54°. The heat from the peppers makes my mouth tingle; the cinnamon is dialed down and the chocolate fudge reminds me I’m drinking Cake - one of my all time favorites!

    I have a lot of RV unloading and cleaning to do; however, the forecast calls for heavy thunderstorms all day. I have a feeling I won’t get much done today…Cheers and have a great day y’all!

    Opaque black body topped with a thin yet lasting khaki hued cap of foam. Excellent smell comprised of roasted grains, coffee, and chocolate. The taste exudes rich chocolate and fudge; sweet; dark roasted coffee; mild yet prominent bitterness. Heavy mouthfeel, rich and oily yet finishing with a semi-dry quality; creamy.

    This is a beautiful, rich and decadent stout enhanced with a fine, balanced dose of Rwandan coffee notes.

    Poured at 47 °F; canned 05/19/2021

    Octoberfest Beer from Bell's.
    Beer store folks told me that Bell's and Sam Adams Okto arrived here last week. I really enjoy Bell's, but enjoy the German märzens, and Bierkellers Braunbier more.
    Still I will end up buying a case of Bell's by the end of October.

    Chicagoj what a beautiful day! Thanks for opening today's big thread...Good day Advocates! It's the crack of noon CST. Let's have a couple shall we? I jogged down to a little park 3/4 mile from me and shot some hoops in full sun for an hour. A little cross training to beak away from running. Figured it was time to finally try this bev: Hop & Barrel Space Force DDH DIPA. Totally nuts. This ale has almost no bitterness but just enuf. Kinda sweet & Big malts. Attention malt lovers: Get this stuff! 8.5%ABV and it's smooth. It is excellent!
