This really sucks. I appreciate you responding so promptly once tagged @Freezing_Balls . At risk of sounding overly forgiving--not being able to verify anything--it sounds like you've gone above and beyond in all three instances to do what's right.

At the very least, I'd recommend avoiding using UPS anyone near where @BEER88 is located. And @BEER88 you should also warn your future trade partners (I still hope this doesn't deter you).

My personal opinion is someone at UPS has it out for beer shippers, or at the very least there's some seriously deficient operations going on over there.

I'd also recommend never using UPS again, even if your experiences have been positive otherwise. I've had several complaints with UPS ranging the gamut in my personal experience, and far fewer issues by proportion with any other logistics company.

Personally, the only shipper with a flawless track record (until recently of course) was UPS. FedEx in particularly has really screwed me out of like $1200 worth of beer in cost (proxy sent me a lot of beers that were confiscated by FedEx, and I trust his packaging) so I swore off them for life. Obviously, I have no intention of using UPS again when sending to BEER88 though.

Yup. I understand how everyone has personal horror stories about why nobody anywhere should ever use "X," but if there's anything I've learned from these threads... it's that the only consistent trend seems to be that different areas and locales have far different experiences as far as carriers go. One isn't far more or less reliable in general than the others.

It sounds like J. Wakefield, AC, and 3 Sons are at least partially at fault for not releasing hype stouts this month.
Although JW did advertise a big cellar sale last weekend...

How far did the two boxes you sent make it before they became undeliverable? I also ship UPS so I'm curious if it's a problem with a local hub or if it's something happening at a different location once it leaves the state.

At this point I definitely want @Freezing_Balls to drink those beers. I do feel for his side as well and again the main point was to get clarification which I truly do appreciate each and every one of your responses/opinions for both sides of this fiasco. Cheers BA’ers!

That's all we can do really. I've had two of my boxes "lost" in transit so I promptly sent another box. In the end we can only treat other traders the way we want to be treated.

    I have tried keeping up...

But were the exact bottles specifically listed in this thread from each side?

At this point I forgot which exact bottles I picked out, but yes there were some specifics, without me going back they were BA stouts with coconut and vanilla, plus other breweries BA stouts. I can copy and paste from our message thread if y’all would like?!

I am shocked that there is almost 40 replies without the specific bottles you sent (or any specifics) to be received.

Since everything actually sounds to be like it is on the up and up, I don’t care because I want anyone to be shamed. Rather, the BA community is great, and you might just get some help with BOTH sets of bottles. Maybe you can’t get your wants, but maybe someone can help you replace the ones you sent (to make another trade). Others may be able to help you with the same (or similar) beers as others have stated.

Since you cannot recall the specifics, copy and past from your text/messages. Again, not to shame anyone, but just to try to help. You may say, “I don’t want it! But thanks!” And that is fine, but I still encourage you to post this info. If nothing else, it actually goes to suggest the lengths that @Freezing_Balls has gone to try to make this right, encouraging future trades with him. It’s win-win.

Well, to say that you sent a lot would be an understatement. I can't believe you shipped a Magnum. I know people do it, but...wow! Impressive.
