Jeeez why do people do this so soon? I used to work at a brewer and we would bottle Oktoberfest in early July buy keep it in the cooler for a month and then start releasing it at the end of August since the real Oktoberfest is mid September.

It's so hot and humid around here October is a dim memory. An Oktoberfest beer however might lift my spirits while we wait for Fall.

Their Oktoberfest was better than I thought it would be. I'll probably get some again this year.

Unfortunately, it looks like Harvest Ale is going to be a taproom only release this year. Too bad, as the fresh 4-pack last year and it was excellent.

The evening weather is begging for it here in the Northeast. Fifty degree nights at the start of August? Give me a maltier, more slower going lager to enjoy

I was just thinking about this after waking up to a third 50 degree morning in a row. Definitely feels like fall than a muggy 70 degree morning in August.

It's good to have certainty. All I'm sure of is this Fall I'll be drinking beer.

I had it on draught at Old Chicago 2 years ago. I am not much of a fan. Shrugs.

Decent brew last time I had some. Great Lakes is the best IMO.

the floodgates seemed to have opened as this and just about every other major brand has appeared here as if in coordination. Maybe they all got shipped together by the same distribution company.

Haven’t picked up the Oktoberfest yet, but plan to.

Picked up their new Fall release, Scarlet Dawn IPA, which is really good for what it is.

Been really impressed with the beers I’ve had from them in the 15 packs (All Day IPA, Mosaic Promise, Green Zebra, Centennial, Scarlet Dawn, etc.).
