I didn’t even think about doing a cuvée. Great idea. Gonna have to crack another bottle of each tonight and experiment.

Best way I can describe it dryness-wise is that feeling in your mouth that’s left after taking a sip of an oaky cabarnet. Not nearly on that level and obviously without the wine notes, like I said it’s a very subtle dryness, but that’s what it was reminiscent of.

If we're talking cuvées, don't miss out on FOMO + Will It Blend.

ISO bottles of FOMO-RUCOCO. You can make a super small bottle batch happen right?! :grinning:

Damn, damn, damn. I was going to trek down to BL after work today to get some FOMO bottles and looks like they sold out of local, same-day bottles yesterday. Now I'll be lucky to get limit 1 bottle on Sunday. Bad planning on my part.

Had FOMO 21 and FO draft the other day. FOMO had tons of coffee on the nose. Nice thickness, vanilla and coffee blended nicely. FO seemed a little artificial with some heat.

I did a retconned blend and thought it was well balanced.

The F5 on the bottle is appropriate for how my time from 159-2 went

Had my last bottle of Beer Geek Observation yesterday and it had fallen off a little bit to me. Can't completely put my finger on it, but the coffee seemed to stick out more than the vanilla/barrel flavors which I wasn't such a fan of. Tasted a lot roastier than I remember. Still good on the whole, but I had also opened a bottle in January 2021 and it tasted better then than it did now imo.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Tiki Strong Ale

This Bourbon Barrel-Aged Tiki Strong Ale sparkles with the magic of the tropics. Aromatic waves of sugar cane, pineapple, coconut, and almond guide the senses through a liquid expression of a well-earned vacation in the fleeting final days of summer.

Brûléed pineapple crests on the palate, lifted by a swell of coconut, almond, and lactose that combine as a rich, custard-toned body to beautifully support the gentle flash of acidity and sweet bitterness of burnt sugar. Medium-bodied with a long, lingering finish.

Bottle Logic has been a client of mine at work since they first opened, back when they only had one room in that complex. I've been going there for years and still have never tried anything, even though I drive by it every day and go to Windsor nearly every weekend.

What should I be sure to try out for my first visit as a customer?

How are you a member of BA and don't find every excuse to try the products that a client of yours makes, especially when it's beer? I know people who would have jumped at the chance who otherwise don't give af about craft beer lol. Did you only recently gain interest in the craft beer scene?

Considering you drive by so frequently, take your time and stop by once or twice a week and try a beer or two. At this point, there's clearly no rush to guzzle as much as you can. Start with styles you know you like, and if you're planning on going elsewhere for the evening just make it a taster or a flight and see what you like.

That said, what many of us here recognize them most for are their barrel aged stouts. While those are high visibility to us, they are relatively rare, even by their standards, when you zoom out and look at their output, and pretty much any brewery's output, by volume.

We probably need to work on our welcoming of new people to the site.

    Just saying
