Good Morning @mschrei and thanks for kicking things off. Blushing Monk is one of my favorites, I would pick it over a FBS nearly every day. That said, I am starting with a stout, a light and easy one from a great Chicago brewery.

Good day BAs and thanks @mschrei for kicking of the daily festivities. It's starting off to be a beautiful day here on the tundra of NW PA - sunny, bright, and sweat-filled. Mrs Lizard's PCR test came back positive for COVID-19 so it's a good thing we got out of Iceland when we did, otherwise we'd be spending ten days in the COVID hotel, subsisting on fish and aquavit. Today's New Breakfast Beer is the weakest of the variety pack:

Pretty much odorless and tasteless - sort of glad I tried it since I love pineapple but I was very disappointed - rating 3.06, rDev -21.5%.

I drank some great beers at our bottle share on Saturday, and then took yesterday off as a cleanse day. Going with juice this morning, courtesy of @Ocalafox - “Lupulin Mutant” NEIPA by Sloop Brewing Co., Hampton, NH:

A milky hazy, a little hop astringency, but better than many I have had before. Citra and Galaxy hops, so juicy citrus hops and some earthy/skunky nose/taste. A great way to start my day, thanks Vann. Cheers and have a great Monday y’all!

Just grabbed some random stuff that looked interesting, then got some other goodies that I knew of. I really don’t know all that much about Belgium beer though:

I can recommend the surroundings and the village of Poperingen when it comes to Belgian beer (and if you have the chance). You find Watou and West Vleteren near by. De Struise Brouwers are also located in the village of Vleteren.

Normally you can buy West Vleteren six-packs in the cafe across the street from the abbey. Ofcourse they also serve all West Vleteren beers there.

    Cheers!

Yes rather strong, but tasty too. I like it.
As far as I know this one is part of their standard production now. Should show up in France any time I guess.
    Cheers!

West Vleteren you mean? That is an online proces at specific dates an times as you may have found out.
You need some luck for that (and patience too). Maybe there is a greater chance now with covid etc. Should go for it. I was lucky a couple of years ago after two online sessions. Takes some time however, because you only can pick up the beer later by apointment.
The easy way is to get a six-pack Westvleteren #12 (about 23 Euro) at the shop in the cafe near the abby. The #12 is not always on sale, but most of the time it is I guess.
    Cheers!

Miss Raul’s parents retired from their bar this year. I got some glasses because of it:

I'm having a Liberty Bell Ringer from Victory. It's a DDH DIPA, and it's really effing good. Strong tropical fruit in the nose and in the taste. Mango and passion fruit backed up by lighter citrus. I rated it 4.30, which is a healthy bit above its BA average of 4.11.
