    Good morning BAs! I stayed up late watching TV last night, and slept in this morning …coffee time - “benevolent overlord” a coffee hazelnut imperial stout by Monday Night Brewing, Atlanta, GA:

    Canned 1/19/21. Tavour purchase March 2021. Poured at 57°. Reddish brown mixed bubbles head sits atop jet black with ruby edges liquid; poor cap retention; thin ring, no lace; medium legs on swirl. Hazelnut and sweet malt nose. Taste is hazelnut upfront followed by roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate; some bitter roast malt; green bell peppers middle; not sweet; vanilla in background. Medium body; moderate minus carbonation; slight warmth from 12.2% abv; grainy tongue coating. Bitter roast linger; the coffee is starting to turn peppers/veggies; thank goodness for the hazelnut - do not age, drink now; overall an ok coffee stout.
