Need these bottle caps identified for the new bottle cap map I got.

We're going to need pics. If you want to add them into a post you'll need to use a third party hosting site. Imgur.com is the site that I use. Upload a pic to that site, copy the Direct link on the right side of the page of the uploaded pic (not the URL) and use the Image icon on the edit bar above (next to smiley face) to add to a post.

Hint: if you can show the caps in one pic you'll save yourself a lot of work. Otherwise you'll have to go thru the above procedure for each single cap.

 

I reckon that we won't be seeing pics in the foreseeable future.

 

Let's see if I can light a fire to get a reply.

Hi Everyone! I am new to the site and noticed you guys seem to identify everything, so I have a few bottle caps I could use help identifying!

 

Welcome to the BA site, JPEL13. To display photos here you need to use a third party hosting site (which you did) but you need to copy the Direct Link for your pic onto your clipboard and then use the Image icon on the compose/edit bar here on BA (next to the smiley face).

I also use imgur so it was easy to copy your pic into my image library and get the Direct Link that way. Here's your pic:


An answer for some caps:
Row 1, cap #1 I think is a cap that is used by homebrewers
Row 2, cap #2 is Goose Island
Row 3, cap #4 is Bell's Amber Ale

There's a start for you. Others will chime in soon.

 

Row 1 column 4 = Samuel Smith
Row 2 column 1 = Jacks Abby
Row 3 column 2 = Pretty Things
Row 3 column 4 = Bells Amber

Row 1 column 3 = This looks to be Shipyard Brewing Company too based on the ship logo

 

For further clarification on R2C2, it's the Goose Island caps for their higher end beers like Sophie, etc.

This site requires that pics in thread postings be stored at a third-party hosting site like Imgur.com. Copy the Direct Link from there and insert it into the image dialog box (icon is next to smiley face above) while your cursor in at the location in the posting where you want to photo to appear.
