Willcott July Jubilee Summer Ale

 

Finishing off the 12-pack of this I purchased 6 weeks or so ago (note: I do NOT buy 12-packs very often), nearly 3 months of whiskers on it and still drinking exceptionally well. SNPA is the too legit to quit OG. Absolutely love it.

 

First beer for me in a little over a week. Trying to diet a little and work on my overall health. Drinking a local ipa that’s just ok, nothing great. Cheers to you all!

 

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest 2021

From can marked PKGD 071421110432

Poured into my pint glass this beer is a clear tawny amber brown with a creamy light taupe head. Head drops quickly leaving very little lace

Scent is caramel, nuts, bread, honey and light floral hops

Taste is caramel, bread, and honey. Toasted notes. Hops are minimal; just a leafy note.

Mouth is a light medium with a crisp prickly carbonation.

A solid Marzen. I tend to prefer the German imports but I did enjoy this.

This was my grandfather’s clock and when I plugged it in the first (and only) time there were sparks & smoke. I cut the cord off and set the time to what you see now. Cheers

 

Back home with a Ghost in the Machine. Some of Fred's bands blew through and dropped about a half inch of rain.
