[IMG] Tonight's Blind Battle Beer Tasting Lineup: (2 of the 3 pairs correctly matched blind)

    1) Sierra Nevada’s Summer Break Session Hazy IPA (4.7%): A new summer release from Sierra Nevada to replaced their old Summerfest beer that has flavors of orange tangerine, tropical, and stonefruit flavors. Clean and crisp.
    versus
    2) Lift Bridge Berry Blonde (4.0%): A blonde ale from Minnesota with flavors of berries including blackberry, boysenberry, raspberry, and blueberries. A light honey finish.

    3) Bauhaus Wonderstuff (5.4%): A Czech-style pilsner from Minnesota that bready and salty flavors. Yeasty with bread malts.
    versus
    4) Surly’s First Ave +1 (5.1%): A blonde ale from Minnesota that has flavors of lemonflower with a smooth and earthy honey malt finish.

    5) Three Floyd's LaserSnake IPA (7.0%): An IPA from Indiana with flavors of orange, pineapple, and stonefruit with a smooth malty finish.
    6) Three Floyd’s Foggy Geezer IPA (6.8%): A juicy and resinous hazy IPA from Indiana with juicy orange, peach, strawberry and tropical fruit flavors.
    (mismatched these two beers blind)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winners:

    2) Lift Bridge Berry Blonde:
This may be a beer from the winter time, but it has great black and boysenberry flavors. Drinks well for 4.0% any time of year.

    3) Bahaus Wonderstuff:
This is an enjoyable American version of a Czech pilsner. Some lemon citrus, but authentically bready. The best of American hops with European malts.

    5) Three Floyd's LaserSnake IPA
: This may not be the hoppiest beer on the market, but it has great juicy flavors balanced by a smooth malt finish. Either way, Three Floyd's should get the win for the best beer artwork!
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you tried Lift Bridge Berry Blonde and what did you think?
Have you tried Three Floyd's LaserSnake IPA and what is your favorite Three Floyd's IPA?
Which brewery do you think has the best beer artwork?

No, I did NOT hate Listermann before they were cool... I've been going here for homebrew supplies for the past 12 years, and their stuff has always been fantastic. They've definitely come a long way as a brewery though, and if you're ever in Cincinnati give these guys a try... and don't talk shit about Norwood!

Such a great beer and darn near impossible to ever find fresh "in these here parts". Jack's needs to smack their distro in the back of the head and tell them to get with the program, this is a big market here.

Gotta use postimages to load pix. Hotlink for forums or thumbnail to post small pix. The BIG pain in the arse is trying to load an image of a new un-pictured beer when rating it. Not worth the trouble actually. Cheers!

That sounds like something I should ask the Mexican place walking distance from me with a bar if they know how to make. I’m on a budget and that sounds like a cheap day off maybe a siesta after

Agreed. I think they had a dispute during recent years with their distributor and had a long legal battle to get out of the contract. But don’t quote me on that.

I brought back two of their Imperial Stouts (Big Ass Coconut) from Jungle Jim's in Cincy and both were quite good. That was a first time ever trying one of their beers. Solid stuff.
