No problems, we sat on the adirondacks outside. Plenty of seating inside and out.

Double Shot > Triple Shot > Quad Shot

I like 'em all, but it's beyond diminishing returns - I actually think that generally speaking the lower test ones are better. (And on a related note, while they're ripping through old recipes right now, I would love to see a rebrew of 2015-era Double Shot, which in my memory skewed closer to tasting like beer than it does now.)

There was a point a year or 2 ago where I felt Double Shot had become what Triple Shot was, but now I think it varies a lot more by release.

If you save Quad for once or twice a year and get the occasional Dbl Shot whenever you feel like it, they can still be distinct and worthwhile.

DS was 7.6% when it was first bottled. Now it's creeping on 9 (maybe higher in variants?)

Closed today, as per hurricane. This saves my fridge from further torture and I can resume drinking up all the other shit I’ve accumulated.

So when placing an order it makes you choose a pickup time, but delays have occurred so I'm gonna arrive a few hours later. I am assuming this does not matter, but if it does matter, how would I go about mitigating any issue? Do I need to email specifying I don't want them to sell my beer before I get there if I'm late? Why do they even have a pickup time? Has anyone had this happen? How many questions can I ask in one post?

Time doesn't matter in Charlton. You're good.

More of a dimension if you will. A dimension that doesn’t matter in Carlton as long as you get there before close same day. Sandwich? Well thats a different dimension in itself…

Used to only see this in their extra dry hopped offerings after a couple months. This Juli-ish is a month old. Shoulda left the last bit in the can I guess

In their defense….drinking a month old version of their beer wasn’t even a realistic widespread possibility until like a year ago. This likely exists in any/all heavily hopped and sloppily fermented beers.

Yep. I see it in Hill Farmstead beers after a couple weeks.

With way these beers are being hopped now I think there's always going to be a little hop sludge.

Monthly "the beer is really, really good lately" post. Queen Machine Amarillo is ridiculous. Also very impressed with C117.

Yeah they've been pretty on point this year. Things are definitely dialed in on the big batches (especially core offerings). The latest batches of Green and Alter Ego have been top tier.

I agree. Had a batch of Green a few months ago that was so off I thought I had covid. This latest batch is the beer I remember from years ago. Tremendous.
