Time to start baseless speculation.

Since they announced it with a picture of a barrel, I am going to declare that all Dark Lord is bourbon barrel aged this year.

Going forward Dark Lord will be an annual barrel aged release that happens in the fall. The festival won't return for many years if ever.

 

Given how unexciting FFF has been lately I suspect the photo of the barrel just signifies their f-it attitude for DLD this year- they’ve gotten rid of the brewpub, the next easiest corner to cut is reducing packaging costs- this year allocations will be one entire barrel per person.

 

I would settle for more Dismembers Only over DL variants

 

Nah, that's too difficult. You're going to have to bring your water bottles up to the barrel and fill them yourself.

BA DL refill stations, complete with redeemable tokens purchased at kiosk.

 

Wouldn’t be surprised if the process is the same as last year. Curb side drive up with a variant mixed in

 

I heard it was going to be in person, but the following must be adhered to:

-must show proof of vaccine or be willing to be injected with experimental treatment of Temeculon 3000
-must wear 3 Floyd’s issued mask with straw when drinking, when not drinking the straw in the mask must be swapped out with a ball gag.
-bottle share tent will only be for sealed containers and for offsite consumption. Anyone drinking at the bottle share will be asked to leave.
-in an effort to enforce social distancing all lines will be banned and patrons directed to use OZNR for ordering on site drinks each time a limited pour is announced.
-in lieu of hand sanitization stations, fountains of 3 Floyd’s Distilling Aqkavit will be liberally scattered through the grounds.
