An afternoon of hanging with friends and hitting up a free downtown street concert finds me home now. The Tulip of Doom now holds a contender in the NW 'BumIPA' (large format/lowbuck/high ABV) sweepstakes, Ninkasi Tricerahops. 8%, $3.99 before tax, stovepipe. Somewhat surprisingly, this beer tastes the same it did 12-14 years ago when it was the new, big, hot, trendy brew. I still like it.

 

Touring again at the watering hole: Breckenridge Broncos Country, Founders Unraveled, and FW Oaktoberfest. All three tasty. Cheers y'all.

Last one for the night: Central Waters Mudpuppy Porter. I haven't purchased this in eons so it's gotta be between 8 and 12 years old. It's lost some carbonation but still has pretty good malty goodness....
