Maybe this is not the right forum, but if anyone that got the 5 gallon barrel for the BT Single Barrel Project, please DM me if you are interested in letting a bottle go or need an extra partner to split it! (crossing fingers moderators don't give me the boot for this  ).

I'm surprised The Burery didn't try to facilitate the barrel program by allowing members to sign up / buy into bottles, when the bottle count reaches barrel capacity, cut it off, and start a new one.

I suspect more than a few of us find it hard to justify buying 136 bottles of Black Tuesday, but would be willing to sign up for a few bottles.

That could still be the fall back plan for unsold barrels... But why not test the waters first for full barrel appetite.

Agreed. Plus I’d snag a 5 gal share of a 15 gal barrel in a heartbeat. That shit is delicious.

I'm looking to have a wedding reception and a wake rolled into one long event and 136 bottles of Black Tuesday sounds like it will fit the bill.

Hopefully this isn't insensitive... is the wake something you had to postpone due to COVID or is that a joke about folks drinking too much Black Tuesday at the reception....

Opened my second BT Sherry. It really is pretty darn great.

Not going to lie…not stoked on another Erosion BT hybrid. Peter Veeder (for me) was astoundingly terrible. Would take any of the Rutherfords again though…

Without discounting the validity these opinions, I'd say if this is the baseline level of discontent that means 2021 has been pretty solid

Now bring on Wednesday and the 2022 preview!

Does everyone think we'll see a trend of more or less of:
    *BT wine hybrids
    *Still packaged beers
    *Double barrel variants

What will the new "that's a thing now?" be?

My guess is they will ramp up the usage of the Monster Stout base and we will see some double barrel variants from that beer.

I'd be ok with no more still releases. Opened a Still Vindictive the other night and it was just not good. It had this harsh rubber tire thing going on that my roommate and I really didn't enjoy. It got a little better as it warmed, but I was so disappointed, especially since I loved all the wineification releases.

ugh. Thanks for sharing. Guess I should open mine. I was such a fan of the still releases because of the ability to drink over several days.

Still Vindictive was a miss for me to, but Portified was excellent. I'd take another in that vein.

Just got my email about next year. They are auto-renewing memberships on 9/13, and they didn't post many exciting beers in their email. I think this was my last year.

Absolutely dreading another candy bar stout, but I’ve enjoyed the majority of my first RS year so I think I’ll hang on for another.

Most of the beers (save for the tiki one) all sound wonderful to me.
