    Happy Friday, advocates! Working from home today and starting what will hopefully be a fun and eventful weekend with the Vietnamese Coffee variant of one of my favorite beers.

    I stayed up late watching Se7en last night. I’ve seen it hundreds of times and never realized Bowie did the song during the closing credits.

    Second Leffe Tripel now. Not worth another picture.

    I am listening to a few country music tunes again, from Merle Haggard to Toby Keith, those two being world apart… and yet despite Tobys fairly simplistic work, I enjoy some of his stuff.

    I also occasionally enjoy David Allan Coe, who’s… well not bad but I won’t share anything from him. This “Don’t bite the d*ck that…” song is okay, but since he’s also used some racial slurs in other of his songs it made me wonder a bit about him.

    Just a little FYI about David Allan Coe. He's now 81 yrs old and when he was in the "big-time" that was 40+ years ago ... back before all of the whiney PC stuff when folks said whatever they wanted and others just blew off the comments like adults do. In other words, times were different then and what was acceptable at that time might be frowned upon today. The music made back then hasn't changed and it was either good or bad .. it doesn't change with the times.

    Thanks for explaining a bit, I believe from what I saw that he was definitely beyond the pale in some other songs.

    Sorry I just don’t want to start something like that here. Let’s move on and drink beer!

    @DoctorZombies , Excellent photo, one of the few examples of a stadium I can recall where the outside looks better than the inside.

    Speaking of lucky rainbows, the random number generator came up with a lucky selection today, perhaps I’ll plop down a rare for me $2 on whatever mega lottery is happening tonight.

    Only reached the Goose Island on the glass, but completely savoring every sip. Definitely setting the stage for a second pour later today.

    Full cellar review here. Bottom line, this is as good, perhaps better, than the fresh version. Also far better than any subsequent version, I’m passing on seeking 2021 beyond perhaps a draft pour.
