Almost pulled the trigger on ASB cans a couple of times and backed off because of shipping cost. ASB is one of the higher ones. Hell, I could fly to MRY and uber to ASB, enjoy lunch and a couple of pints, pick up some cans and walk over to Fieldworks for some more pours and Uber back to MRY for my flight back home. At least I’d have a really fun day instead of waiting for my box to show up. The cost of ASB shipping would cover my uber ride.

IMO Pils is their best beer, which they are now brewing year round.

While I’m on the subject of ASB, they just announced they will be opening a new bar & restaurant in downtown Salinas.
Renovating and restoring a historic building.
    Looks cool.

So, there are certain guys on BA, that, when they say something is good, you take notice. One of those guys, for me, is @bret27. He mentioned this and I sought it out...wowza! This is a fantastic pils! Thank you for pointing this out, bro!!! Cheers! :beers::beers::beers:

Wow that’s probably the best beer-related compliment I’ve ever gotten.
    Glad you liked it also.
As long as they’re not overpriced I can definitely see working this into my lager rotation.
    Also, great pic. :beers:

7th Anniversary West Coast IPA. Centennial & CTZ + Simcoe and some Citra, Mosaic & Ekuanot lupulin cryo powder. Modern hybrid WC ipa. Juice up front, some bitter on finish, but not overpowering. Pretty Good.

Hard to even describe this one.... Fruit forward Milkshake Double ipa??

"Oasis of Calm". Jammed with Yuza fruit, el dorado, simcoe and sabro hops, plus milk sugar. Basically sweet mandarin orange juice at 8% abv. No Bitterness.

Not really my style. But if you like all juice and that milkshake deal....

ASB has really been in Great Notion territory with their recent kettle sours. Thoroughly enjoyed both Biggies Bodacious Berry Blast and Daquiri Island Sunset Edition. The Biggie's brew was exceptional, but sold out when I went to get more.

I snagged just a 4-pack of Hot Pink Sherburps, but after reviews, I should have bought more. Have not tried yet.

Todays drop includes Playa Del Guava, hope it is also a winner. We'll see.

White Label Mai Tai is one of the best Westies I've had all year. Maybe the best.

Latest batch of Nelson Baby with phantasm was... dank. Very dank.

Heading out to Pebble Beach in 2 weeks and was looking for a good lunch spot near ASB and Fieldworks. Pretty open to food style and saw there's a bunch of options. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also, are cans usually available at both places? Would like to bring a few 4pks back to the resort and home with me.

From the week I spent up there, every time I went to ASB there were plenty of can options to go. ASB has really good food as well. Fieldwork also had plenty of can options to go.

I ate lunch with the wife at “The Bench” which is located on Pebble Beach overlooking the ocean/18th hole. They had a decent tap list including ASB Mai Tai ipa, and the view from the outdoor patio was incredible. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Awesome I'll check that out. We are staying on property at Pebble so the rest of our meals are there but we have a bunch of time to kill between golf and dinner one day. Was surprised how close ASB and Fieldworks is.
