    Happy Saturday, BA! I've had a bit of break from beer, since going all in on my vacation. Now I'm almost caught up on my reviews and ready to go again! First today is A New Level by Cloudwater, and some music while waiting for the Formula 1 quali.

    Hej! @JamFuel, Cloudwater never fail to deliver and I enjoyed only a few of them. On the downside they are a bit steep and hard to find here otherwise top tier.

    Cloudwater is the best brewery in the world, in my dumbass opinion. This will be the 162nd beer from them I review, and they are always at least very good, usually better.

    I find myself enjoying lagers more and more. They used to be a palate cleanser for me, but they are becoming more and more important. Oppigårds know their traditional styles, so this is, unsurprisingly, damned good.

    The Swedish take on New England IPAs tend to be a hazy version of a regular IPA. This, by The Piraya (Piranha) Bryggeri is actually closer to what the style should be. I’m enjoying this!

    This is the favorite song of one of my favorite people. Sorry for the language…

    Gorgeous mild Saturday morning from North Georgia. A hint of fall. Perfect time to sit and enjoy a tasty Dunkel. First time drinking a Hofbrauhaus Dunkel and it is mighty fine. Looking forward to cooking out later and watching some college football. Prost!

    Good morning BAs! This morning’s coffee is from Perennial Artisan Ales, St. Louis, MO - “Coffee Abraxas” (2020):

    Poured at 59°. An imperial stout brewed with Ancho Chili Peppers, Cacao Nibs, Cinnamon, Vanilla, and Sump San Sebastián Coffee from Oaxaca, Mexico. Very nice balance of base, spices and roast coffee. Should score a little north of 4.5…

    I’ve got errands to run today, then our local monthly bottle share at 3…busy, busy, busy - Cheers and have a self-indulgent Saturday y’all!

    Wild Onion Brewery 2020 Drago

    Long story short, this beer kicks ass, literally and figeratively.

    WXRT just kicked off, Radio Radio by Elvis Costello has me guessing 1977 (Narrator - Actually released via album in 1978). Will come back with more from this great year later this week. For now, celebrating 1980s era Russian Songs to pair with this beer.

    Thanks to @colby600 I am enjoying . . .

    Fox Farm Brewery Burrow Imperial IPA

    Hazy golden color with white cap and good lacing.

    Strong, sharp aroma of citrus and rich hops. I get something like fresh lemon zest as well.

    Taste is a pleasing combination of bright hops and juicy citrus. Bold, strong flavors that are well integrated and, while simple, march forth in unison. Citrus elements form the core but hops are singing all the high notes.

    Full texture that is soft, velvety and mouth filling.

    This is a big bruiser of a DIPA that makes no apology for it's room filling presence.
