Heading to the Patriots game on Sunday and curious if anyone has been this summer and if so, what the best options are? Bonus if you know where in the stadium the better stuff is. A couple years ago when I went they had a lot of good stuff including Focal, SOS, Trillium and Fiddlehead. Assuming it’ll be similar this year.
What? You can't get Schaefer Beer there anymore! OK, granted - I don't keep up with sports or, especially, name changes of stadiums or their replacements.
They had Trillium Hatch Shell and Peddocks Island, Sip Sunshine, Cloud Candy Mighty Squirrel, Timberyard Hindsight, Hair Raiser from Exhibit A
I don't keep up with the stadiums today, but do remember the Pacific Coast League in the 50s. Seattle Rainiers at Sick Stadium (Choice of Rainier, I guess) Portland Beavers at Lucky Beaver Stadium (Lucky Lager)
So THAT'S why the tickets are so expensive! Not due to Brady, but just a cover for the Tree House cans...
A variety of Sick's brands might have been available at the stadium in the late 30s through the 60s. I never saw Sick's Select or Brew 66 in Portland from the late 60s, when I came of age. I think those brands were promoted mostly for Oregon after prohibition since Sick's (Seattle and Salem, OR) didn't own the rights to Rainier in Oregon until 1953, when Sick's got the full rights from the San Francisco owners. At one time in the late 60s Rainier tried the "three beers", R Not-so-Light, R Light, and R Light-Light (none of those low calorie!) Those might have been available at the stadium. In the 70s Rainier did market their economy brand Rheinlander and Rainier Ale.
Any idea what section that was in? QUOTE="Rysk22, post: 7357474, member: 891559"]My buddy sent me this... [/QUOTE]
