Ditto, drinking DnT at our campsite on the Sierra Eastside after a smokey day of hiking and scrambling. Perfect beer for the conditions and mood. And under orange moonlight no less.

SLICE BEER CO in Lincoln about to release another Lager this coming Friday.....

This easy drinking American Lager is super crisp and refreshing, brewed with 100% German Pilsner malt and Halltertau Mittelfrüh hops. 4.5%

New collab hoppy pilsner from Urban Roots and 21st Ammendment for their Anniversary. Solid, but not spectacular for my palate and preferences.

Enegren continues to impress me with their quality offerings...2nd pic Letni Fest.

Out of the two, I preferred Zehn Fest by a smidgen, but they were both outstanding!

I will also echo some of the sentiments here about Urban Roots! Their Lager program is quickly becoming on of the best in California IMO.

Out of the offerings I have had: Hell>10°>12°>EZ-PZ. All very good while Hell and 10°are some of the best I have had.

I just saw that UR/21st Collab show up at a few shops in my area. Figured it would be a little light from the description, hesitated on picking it up. Probably at least have to get 1 can for "Science"..... Especially with temps creeping back over 100 degrees this weekend.

I'll post a different pic here in bigger group of the CAL LAGERS thread.

Slice Beer Co. 6th Street Lager. Brewed with 100% German Pilsner malt and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops. Pretty Crisp and Clean.

New (IPL in my view) offering from Altamont, Mosaic Fuel. My take, worth a grab if you see it fresh and enjoy IPLs and Mosaic hops. Love the label!

Festbiers, how many breweries in California brews them?

Hoping Mellowwood Festbier makes a return. It looks like The Propagator has Oaktoberfest on tap.

What are your favorites, CA or otherwise?

Enegren's is supposed to be coming out (it's possible it has come out already). Smog City and Highland Park both do festbiers, I believe

HPB’s take is good, lighter in both color and mouthfeel, compared to Enegren, and Smog. Has more of a Euro pale lager lean to it. I prefer Smog’s take.

Eppig just redid a new batch of their Festbier, had a pour and bought cans last night, it's outstanding as ever. They are one exceptional at lagers.

They no longer have a NP location. HeadQ in Vista and a site in Point Loma.

Had both the Enegren and Alesmith oktoberfest biers this week and both are fantastic. While I expect Enegren's to be fantastic, I didn't know what to expect from Alesmith's, so I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was
