Been splitting and stacking firewood. Time for a beer and a roast beef sandwich.

 

Still at Flagler Village Brewery, drinking their “Tap Cacophony” a coffee coconut brown ale:



Lots of coffee on the nose. Coffee and coconut taste…nice!

 

Drinking Paulaner Oktoberfest Märzen. I've had the discussion with a few people about
the possibility of this being the same beer as Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Märzen. I'd
have to do a side by side to make a real determination, but it seems awfully close



It's unusual to see Jeff Beck playing anything but a Strat, but this is the Les Paul
with the wrap around tail piece that he's pictured with on the cover of the
Blow by Blow album

I figured that since the Bitburger Beecher is my glass of choice for my Okto

Yes, happy Revolution has one out to end the month, hope we can get Lagunitas' here as well. Hoping travel is back to normal in 2022 or 2023 so I can experience some fresh at the source.

Had two great BA get togethers this Summer, the first with @DoctorZombies and the Wisconsin crew and last month with @eppCOS and several locals who mostly hang in the Great Lakes forum (@FBarber is everywhere). Looking forward to future gatherings down the road. Anyone in this thread is welcome to PM me if they plan on visiting our fair city, where the beers are so pretty, to have a pint or two at a fine establishment....

Maternal grandmother's mother born and raised a half block from Saint James's Gate Brewery.

 

Just bought a twelve-pack of two-week-old Two Hearted twelve-ouncers. (Say that three times fast.)

 

The Centennial is strong in that beer at two weeks - enjoy!
