    Good day BAs! Day #2 of our fall beer/quilt hunting expedition begins! Yesterday we hit the Rockwell museum in Corning, NY. Don't make a special trip, but if you're visiting the Corning Glass Museum it's worth the side trip. Then off to Ommegang - a 2.5 hour drive for dinner and beer. Of course they were closed - had an unannounced employee outing that day - if it was on the website both Mrs Lizard and I missed it. So a nice extra five hour drive yesterday. Today we head south back into Pennsyl-f*cking-tucky and Shangy's among other places. Today's New Breakfast Beer is a local from Cooperstown, NY:

    I've never seen Postimages upload so quickly! Nice label paying tribute to local boy James Fenimore Cooper (Cooperstown, NY, is named after his father). Beer is not so good, but it's a 19.2 oz can so that helps ease the pain: rating 2.74, rDev -13.3%.

    Thanks for starting the thread @Ozzylizard . Hope you visited the baseball hall of fame while you were in Cooperstown. I've been there. Off to South Carolina myself tomorrow.

    Good morning BAs! My 3 week trial settled yesterday afternoon after 3 days :slight_frown:, so I’m packing up, and drinking a KBS:

    Bottled 5/6/21. Poured at 50°. Four pks sell for $24.99 to $26.99 at home; the Whole Foods here was $18.99. Thank you WF!

    Big game tomorrow, but I first have a long drive through some big rains this afternoon to get there…Cheers and be safe out there BAs!

    Lunch time beer!

    Creature Comforts Cosmik Debris DIPA. 8% ABV is higher than I generally like in a lunch beer, but I'm headed to FL on vacation with Mrs. ATL6245 next week, so what the heck! Cheers folks!

    I found this just this past week, it was at a deep discount, so I took a chance, never having tried the beer. I liked it soooooooo much, I went back, in my drunken state and purchased the whole stock! :grinning: The woman at the register recognized me from two hours earlier, and thought I was some kind of deviant! :grinning:

    That's hilarious. But we've all had that experience where we liked something so much and delayed going back to grab more, then - poof! All gone!

    Drinking Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. This probably my third favorite Hefe and I get to
    drink it on draft fairly often. This is the first time from a can and it looks great.

    Starting today with a Landbier Dunkel lager from Schilling Beer Co. Pretty nice stuff I'm enjoying, crisp, smooth, slightly roasted and dark, toasty, mild hints of dried fruit and earthy hop, good beer on this cool dreary day here. Cheers all!

    Drinking Paulaner Oktoberfest, it used to be labeled Oktoberfest Wiesn which
    I incorrectly thought was a form of wheat beer, but no it's a Fest bier and prob
    my favorite. I have several liter Paulaner mugs to prove it, but that's another story
