I think the most recent BA releases were the Coconut Cinnamon bbomb, Rusty Nail, Anniversary beer and the B5k. All saw some distribution. Finding the B5k is unlikely, but I would think the other 3 beers can be found in the wild.... At one of the places mentioned above. Good luck.

The last time I was in Super Deli Mart, about 10 days ago, they had several Fremont BA beers, including some prior year versions. The older bottles were priced higher, but not outrageous.

Super Deli Mart is in southern West Seattle, but is easy to get to by bus (the C Express goes right there). Driving is more difficult due to the WS bridge being out, but it's possible.

Thank you Seattle/Washington people for such a wonderful amazing trip, thank you to anyone who gave me advice ahead of time. We got to Seattle Wed around 12 AM, got back to NJ last night around 5 PM.

Long post so feel free to ignore...trip recap

First, let me say, if we didn't leave our kids back east we may have never left Ballard, we stayed up around 24th ave/60th street area. I felt like I was in a nature, food, and beer wonderland, oh and all the great coffee shops at every turn. I'm still riding the buzz of how awesome it was out there.

Non beer...We got in a hike day #1 "dirty harry's balcony" and day #2 we hiked all around Discovery Park. The nature and scenery within and around the city boggles my mind, I felt like I was in wonderland. I love evergreens and to see them poking up literally everywhere, even in the city, was amazing.

    Beer...
Well the only problem was how short we were there, I brought plenty of beer home though. Got beers with @snaotheus at Stoup and Obec. I also made it for a beer to bale breaker, most of the other stuff I drank (from pick up or Chucks/Bottleworks) was at our airbnb cause we were either exploring or at wedding obligations.

Top Beers of the Trip (ranked):
    1. Stoup NW Red - the type of beer I dream of, low abv, chock full of piney/resiny hops with awesome malt support. The color of that beer...
    2. Bale Breaker - Field beer No. 8 (simcoe fresh hop IPA) like biting into a hop cone.
    3. Fremont - Field to Ferment had that same fresh hop character as bale breaker.

Thanks again for all the help you all provided. I hope to return sometime, bring the kids and really explore the nature out there proper. Cheers all!

Is there a proof of vaccine shot to enter breweries, bars and restaurants going on in the Seattle area? What’s the policy these days? Mask? Thx.

Most places in Seattle are requiring proof of vaccination and will be legally required in King County beginning October 25th. Masks are already required.

You'll be in Puyallup, right? Pierce County is not doing as well with vaccination rates/Covid cases, so really mask up and don't slack down there.

If I may, also have your ID ready. One of my jobs is checking proof of vax, and we require matching ID. You can have a pic of your vac card in your phone, and that is acceptable. We require the ID to prevent someone in from showing a pic, while handing their card to an unvaxxed friend. Policies vary, so, just be ready.

No. But, to paraphrase Clausewitz on War, you need to be prepared for what can happen, not what you expect to happen.

I’ll be in the Kent area tomorrow. Is there a decent bottle shop in the area of SEATac and Kent? I’m planning to hit the Fremont/ Georgetown area on Saturday. But would like to stop at a bottle shop to pick up some cans for Friday late afternoon & evening. Don’t really feel like making the drive from SEATac to Fremont/Ruebens just for cans. I can do that the next day Saturday. I would really like to try Ruebens Wet hop cans. I’m also looking for a place to eat with a decent tap list in that area. Looking at google maps there isn’t much in the area. My last visit a year ago I bought cans at Peaks & Pints in Tacoma. Great selection. But don’t want to drive that far Friday. I figure they’ll be traffic. Thx for any recs.

I have arrived in Wet Heaven. Or is Oregon considered Wet Heaven? First stop, Great Notion Georgetown. Trust me, this was not on my list for this trip. But when we were sitting in the United Club in SFO I saw they just released Merry Dankster in cans…change of plans. Grabbed a 4pk after picking up our car rental. A slight detour before going to Brewmasters Taphouse for some fresh wet cans to go. I did get Cloudburst’s Green Is My Favorite Color, Stoup’s Fresh Hop Fiend and F George Fresh Hop cans. No time for house pours. The streets of Seattle is fuk’d up on a Friday afternoon. Enjoying some Bodihizafa ipa and the Merry Dankster with some Kalbi & brown rice in our room in Kent. I’ll be wet hop tripping in Seattle tomorrow. Tonight, Airways Brewing which is down the street from us. Then lights out in Kent.
