I've had it on tap a handful of times. I know they would have it on when they used to do the can drive. It's been awhile though.

    Had an idea the today...

I like Black Tuesday but I love So Happens It's Tuesday (BT is a tad bit hot for me).

Day 1: Open BT drink half, save half.
Day 2: Open SHIT. Blend BT/SHIT (50/50 8oz/8oz). Save remaining BT and SHIT.
    Day 3: 70/30 SHIT/BT (8oz/4oz)

So kind of a homegrown You Asked for it minus the vanilla.

Anyone ever try doing something like this? There are so many BT releases coming out that I was hoping to find a way to enjoy them more.

One way to find out! They used to hold blending competitions so your idea isn't crazy at all.

I haven't done this with Bruery, but some friends and I did open a handful of Firestone component beers and played with blending those. Highly unscientific, but definitely fun and tasty.

I have bcbs 18 on tap at home here and I often will blend BT and other stouts with it. Adding adjuncts on top of it all is even more fun (vanilla, coffee, cinnamon, maple syrup, orange liquor, etc)

BCBS blends better with at-home adjuncts than any other beer, and I don’t think it’s very close.

In addition to your suggestions, it does great with raspberries/blackberries (just heat them up a bit in a pot and chill after blending) or coconut (raw or lightly toasted). I also prefer Cinnamon Toast Crunch to straight cinnamon. A simple coffee press is all I ever use and that does the trick just fine.

Never tried blueberries, but in honor of @ernh I need to give it a try!

Yes it really does. I’ve tried so many things at this point, and it’s super helpful when thinking of new brews to make etc. Peaches/maple syrup/cinnamon/vanilla bcbs is pretty damn amazing lol.

So based off the ‘21 Hoarders schedule, we still have 2b barrel aloha Friday, a BW colab with 3 chiefs, and a BT box(unless that’s what the four small bottle variants are next month

None of those are included, but yes. There's also the Maple Pecan BT still coming. And BA Partridge. Plus all the stuff on the included list. Yum.

BA Three's Cocompany is delightful! Very impressed.

The original was decent but not standout for me. This one takes all the good bits and fine tunes and upgrades.

I often think of collaboration beers as more hype than substance... But honestly when I look at this and Sticky Chunk, plus BA Churriosity and Creme Brueley I feel like they're turning out beers that are indeed a bit different different from standard Bruery and also very good. Excited for the Boulevard and 3 Chiefs beers coming later.

Big Blue Stacks was Incredible. An amped up blueberry pancakes BT. Don't listen to the haters, this is the best beer hands down from the Bruery. Not overly sweet, just pure blueberry pancakes, blueberry scone and maple syrup flavor imo. Sneaks up on you very quickly., revisiting another one this evening and will report back.

Not that untappd means everything (the Bruery does use it in the their emails), but I believe this is their highest rated beer ever.

Agree 100%. Big Blue Stacks was delicious. The blueberries were there, the maple and the double-barreling gave it a slight smokiness to the back-end of it, which tempered any overt sweetness, IMO.

Yes, I though this year's BA Three's Company was better than the original, as well. A well-rounded BA beer with a ton of coconut present. Definitely going for a second 4-pack.

Also tried a BA Choco Churriosity. Good but wasn't blown away like I'd hoped.

Big Blue Stacks. I agree with a recent poster. Its not overly sweet, like Apple falls far. As soon as you pop the cap, a blueberry flavor hits you, I was kinda shocked. Obviously a strong blueberry flavor, simple maple syrup, not an over the top maple flavor like CBS, kinda subtle. To me the most interesting thing I was getting a smoky flavor, it probably cut down the sweetness. I'm looking through reviews, has anyone else had this and finally someone mentioned it here. Its at the back end and hangs onto your tongue, at least for me. Lastly, BT beers I get the burn , no matter the variant, it almost always there, and you are well it is a 19 abv beer. I am not getting that abv burn. IMO it's an excellent beer. I was worried after reading the review here so I had to taste it to find out because I did buy a couple more. I am exceeding thrilled with this beer.

Posting this again, just in case someone out there is contemplating joining reserve...
Anyone in DC area or east coast looking to split my Hoarders membership? DM me. I renewed, but would like to reduce the number of high abv bottles in my life (at least in theory).
