Good to know. The docs kept telling me to cut down on red meat & I was like, go ahead & put me on the med doc. High Cholesterol on both sides of the family. Then a damn tick bite makes me do so ( to some extent any way )

Now I'm having a Lagunitas IPA in a diminutive 19.2 oz can. I'VE been thinking of our losing John Prine to effing covid, but this tune always lightens my heart. Cheers in memory of a legendary songwriter....

Big fan of this beer from FBBC as well, potential staple if I could get it regularly (without going to visit in-laws...LOL!)

 

Sat on my sorry ass all day so did not work up much of a thirst but I will have this one anyway. I did commit to a major landscaping project to the tune of $5,000. I had no choice, the woods had taken over the back and side of my house.

 

No nice outside today, on Dad duty now.

An odd brew I saw at the Total Wine last trip. A whiskey barrel-aged Imperial Sour with lemon. 16% ABV and a little sour, a little sweet and you don't taste the alcohol. It may indeed be like Limoncello but I've never drank that straight?? that I remember although I'm going to try because it's in the freezer because the wife cooks with it. BRB.

This one is very well put together. Flat out delicious

 

Our first date was in 1981 to John Prine at then Aycock Auditorium on the UNC-G campus. We drove over in a splendid red 1967 Plymouth Fury convertible. That was a great first date, lemme tell ya. I love John Prine, always will... We were 23 and 29 respectively.
