I’ve posted twice before but always with my family and no beer. I actually found a picture of me with a beer!

Drinking one of my favorite local Pale Ales. Double Nickels by Docent Brewing. It’s a pale ale that doesn’t taste like an ipa.

 

The urban caveman in his native habitat, having just left BJJ class. This one is a few weeks old.

Well, it was a pretty well-known industry "secret" that both Eddie Bauer and L. L. Bean used to monitor the BA forums for "regular guy" male models, so I suspect most of those folks no longer with us here have made it to the big time and drink craft hard seltzers to maintain their ideal weight.

Me? Ah, I couldn't take the rat race and lack of privacy in the dressing rooms (you know who once walked in on us? Well, I don't wanna get political...) so I quit. BUT I still get 7¢ royalty on every Bean's Men's Signature Archival Cotton Sweater.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

A friend of mine from high school owns an MMA gym in my hometown, so I pop in for Muay Thai and BJJ a couple times a week each. Gotta burn off those beer calories!

Me, my older daughter and the wife on page 16 for anyone who cares. My hair is a little longer and I probably weigh 5 more pounds…not bad for 6 years ago.
