Any soy sauce remarks? I find that to be a common theme with many casual drinkers' first stout force feedings, Derk Lerd be damned.

 

Chrome decided not to import my saved card info for a change. That was exhilarating.

The longer it stays up, the lower the secondary value is. It's a win-win for most people.

It's obviously been discussed before.. I kind of want one but don't care much for saisons these days. I can't justify spending more on the saisons than the stout just because I want the stout. I'm sure others feel the same way and factors into why it's still available. It's $100 and not even barrel aged.. People coming to their senses?

 

It's more likely that they made a lot more than in the past.

 

Definitely in a Side Project time out. It doesn't help that my beer cellar has gotten out of control and I have neglected our wine cellar.

I would have ordered them an uber to take them back to their Airbnb if they even whispered Kikkoman....

 

Fewer than 500 left now. Interested to see how fast it moves. Not a bad day for SP.

Did anyone see on their website or social media that the brewery would be closed tomorrow and Saturday, or is it just me? Was hoping to grab these then.

 

For point of reference, at Hill Farmstead right now you can buy two 375s versions of BA Dorothy for $40 + one Arthur Puncheon for $18, plus not available right now, but Damon was $35 and I believe 500ml, which is also barrel aged.

So, less money, but for less liquid, yet subjectively a bit more work on the brewery's end. Then you still have to drive all the way tf out there as a customer.

1625ml at Hill for $93 vs 2250ml at SP for $100.

I initially assumed it would come out the other way, but unless I fucked the math up, the price per ml is lower at SP than Hill, at $.04 v $.06, and is right around "industry" standard, at least for this particular subset of relatively small batch luxury good.

The only downside, which I'm sure you'll point out, is you're buying beer you don't want if you only wanted the Coco.

 

I saw the same message, but I think it was a zombie notification from a few weeks ago for Zwanze Day. The IG post says they're open tomorrow.
