Picked up a single can of DC brewed Florets. It's been a while since I've tried anything from them because of how disappointing their initial batches were. I live a mile from the brewery so I really want this to work out but what the hell is going on over there? This beer is a couple weeks old but insanely green and tastes like rotten vegetables. I will see you guys in another 6 months or whenever I'm dumb enough to buy this crap again.

For the Simcoe-heads out there, latest batch of Forever Simcoe is solid, drinking my first can tonight and while it's not as pineapple/tropical forward as those "fresh" hop batches in the spring are, it's still a fine run of a classic.

Really loving this one and glad I grabbed cans of it!
Not sure if you will be up near mid-town at all but they have a set up now at rockefeller center and it should be less crammed with tourists as it seems NYC hasn't gotten back to pre COVID levels of tourism congestion.

I was taking a giant stroll through mid-town with my daughter last weekend when we stumbled upon the OH beer garden. I had a hard time convincing my kid that it was an accident and not a complete set-up.

Haha thats great. I forgot they were doing it last year and the first time we were walking through that area since COVID we saw the little truck set up but they had already closed down for the day.

That’s what I get for bringing my family to “a pizza place” on a road trip and it turning out to be Al’s Pizza Boy (with 100 taps). Nobody trusts this guy anymore.

How's Galaxy doing these days, might head to the brewery to pick up some four packs including Diamond Reflections.

To add to the galaxy train, how is this latest batch of Space Diamonds that's in distribution? I haven't had this beer in ages and may swing over to the store this evening to pick some up.

I got Ctira+Galaxy when I stopped recently and it isn't as great as it was in the past but still good and none of the bad Galaxy stuff going on in it. I have stayed away from Space Diamonds (as much as that sucks) for a while now. It seems it is still hit or miss, but the Citra Galaxy recent batch was worth a grab.

Gave up on OH 3 months ago and haven't looked back!

A lot of Tripping Animals. Calienti Aqui drinks like (fresh) vintage other half!

Is that because you moved? I've had a few Tripping Animal brews and they're quite good.

I'm not an Other Half local any more either and I was not a good Other Half local to begin with.

I miss rushing home on a Saturday, crushing 4 beers by 5pm and getting my reviews up ASAP so people would know whether or not they want beers that are sold out.

I'm glad to see they are still improving the curbside (square) site. Now they categorize beers into groups like single IPA, imperial IPA, and even Oat Cream IPA.
