One and Dunn wasn’t on tap yesterday. I thought Scoop had the strawberry more present on the nose and taste than furst. Huge amount of strawberry on the nose. Taste follows with chocolate and vanilla being big as well. Conners is just a raspberry bomb. On the nose and taste and lightly tart from the raspberry’s. The vanilla rounds it out nicely to sweeten it up making it insanely drinkable. I had 2016 cuvee but it’s been so long I can’t really compare it.

Are the BT tickets Hoarders only today? I got the email but the page it links to thinks I’m not logged in.

    First up, Scoop Scoop Scoop

Super good, as said before. If this were in a box I'd be excited to have two more. But given the single bottle price I'm going to think on whether I want another or not. Probably wait until I've tried the others.

Very flavorful strawberry and great overall balanced flavor. Nice creaminess for BT but falls a little short of the amazing body on Furst.

Sweet but not overdone, though cloyingness does creep in as you work through the glass.

Amarillo By Morning is subtle but delightful. Either I like it more than batch one or my memory of batch one is too harsh. Really mellow and balanced, flavorful yet easy drinking.

If anyone has extra allocation for a scoop or dunn I'd love to grab one. I have access to pure project cellar syndicate and am in SD.

I checked in with the Society regarding the included glassware with 2021 membership. I know I was not the only one wondering about the status of this.

They said there has been a delay with their vendor, but once they roll in they will be added to our cellars for pickup. I would guess they might mention it in one of the email updates as well.

That reminds me, I need to check in with them on my next pickup about the outstanding credits from last year's anniversary party.

    This is the 4 x $100 != 4 x $75 issue.

Curious is anyone else has heard anything on this.

I see both FH beers are on now AND all the Black Friday variants. Looks like I’m stopping by tomorrow afternoon.

does anyone know what the flight size of the Black Friday beers is? I’d like to try them all but no way I’m doing 25oz of Black Friday.

One & Dunn is pretty great, but at the price point I feel similar to For A Spell in terms of "how many premium stouts do I need?"

The rye barrel is excellent. Tons of flavor without overwhelming the beer.

Base beer is thick and creamy. Really good. Reserved roastiness and modestly sweet. Texture is a touch cloying on finish though.

Strata Sphere is good... it's super mellow (not the same as boring) and so I feel like it doesn't justify the 8.5% base. Flavor-wise it feels like a nice 6.5% beer; it's not a bonkers hop beast and doesn't need the extra booze kick.

For those in the DC area - does the Bruery store there have anything special skippity paps available in crowlers that aren't listed on the online menu? They haven't updated since early last month. Going to be beering around DC next weekend and am curious.

A little disappointed by the FH offerings this year. Amarillo by Morning was great last year but this year it tastes really raw and I’m not getting any fresh hop flavor out of it. The Strata DIPA is a good beer, but very little fresh hop character. Bummer.

24K tastes disturbingly like carrot cake. If you like carrot cake and you liked the Oreo cheesecake BT, this is the beer for you. The Cobbler BT is overwhelmingly raspberry, delicious and you don’t get any of the alcohol so be careful!

Iniquitous is really really good. Balanced and immensely flavorful. It feels priced a little higher than is warranted... Then again I don't think I can't not grab a few more. Would have been a good candidate for four packs of cans I think.
