Meaning behind your avatar

My avatar is Sam, a faithful cat for 17 years. He was always at my side as I worked at my desk or drank beer. He passed away several years ago, but I keep his photo as a reminder of very nice times.

 

I was always pretty sure Bluto was based on me. I mean, me in my teens. Not now, cause clearly I have my shit together now.

 

Crows do kick ass. And they kill the squirrels in my yard. My enemies enemy must be my friend. Right?

I’m not a die-hard fan but my fav album is American Psycho, therefore I’m one of the few oddballs who prefers Graves over Danzig. I’m not one for violence but Something about Glen getting knocked out by Danny Marianinho is satisfying to watch. Probably because he can be an arrogant d-bag.

 

Mine’s the C of the Cleveland Indians from the font used in the ‘70s. Guess I’ll have to switch it to a G now…

My maternal grandfather in his WWII RAF uniform. He passed away before I was born. From what my parents said (both hated beer) my fondness for ale likely came from him. We never knew exactly what he did during the war, he served west of London during the week and would ride his bike back to our North London home Friday nights, stopping at many a pub along the way.

 

My avatar is Mozart's skull. 'Nuff said.

I didn't have an avatar for the longest time, but when the guys in the Other Half thread were complaining about the melon character from the yeast, I took it upon myself to make my avatar a pic of Sour Patch Watermelon - I love Sour Patch Watermelon and I also enjoy melon. I don't mind that character coming from yeast. So yeah, a semi-troll.

 

PLEASE tell me this is a detail from a larger Magic Eye picture. I've been trying for the longest time to figure out what the hidden image is, and it's driving me crazy.

plus he gave the best advice ever. Whenever something was going really wrong he’d simply ask “is this going to change the price of beer” if someone answered no he would replay “well then what do I care?”

It is an kinetic representation of a Native American poem. Part of a series I made to explain the beauty of change via temporal transience. ... and people think I am a BEER geek. :-)
