Good day BAs! Yet another foggy and cool morning as we speed down that slippery slope into winter here on the NW PA tundra. Today's New Breakfast Beer comes courtesy of @Roy_Hobbs and NBW/NBS BIF 14:

Possibly the best IPA I've ever had! Thanks Ross! Rating 4.2, rDev -0.2%.

As a general rule, I'm not a big IPA guy, but Wile is one that I could drink on a fairly regular basis. Glad you enjoyed it!

@Ozzylizard Thanks for opening the bar. Still short pants weather here, wishing Winter won't come this year, except to usher in the new batches of Revolution A Little Crazy. OG Employee Matty featured on the label below.

This is my last can from the 2021 release. The first this year is my avatar. Still doing great.

Will return later today with more beers in the wild, including hopefully a Deep Woods Release Party.

This 1971 song is an appropriate pairing.

    Bitburger Premium Pils this morning.

Very balanced medium malt flavor with overriding hop sharpness.
Seamless texture with something bordering on subdued richness.
Very clean, crisp, refreshing beer, flawlessly made. Very popular in the country of origin where competition is stiff for the consumer dollar.

Morning, all! I've accomplished a few tasks today - both achieved from the comfort of my computer. I think that still warrants a beer.

My last bottle of this; it was very nice, and I wouldn't mind picking up more (especially for the Fall and Winter), if I come across it. Some yard work beckons later today.

    Cheers!

After yesterday's grocery run I made a beer run and saw this, Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad, figured somebody oughta buy this, might as well be me. I figure it'll go well with yesterday's Boulevard Whiskey Barrel Stout. I was right!

Worked late last night, and really wanted a beer when I got home, but I was so tired I went straight to bed. Woke up this morning still wanting a beer, and so this Ecstasy of Pink from Single Hill, in collaboration with members of the Pink Boots Society, is in the Tulip of Doom. It's a Fresh Hop brew that features a couple new hops, Idaho Gem and ADHA 218. The Idaho Gem didn't work for me when I had it in another FH brew a few weeks ago, and it's not blowing my skirt up here either.

A ton of yard work behind me, and now I think I'm officially done working for the day. Next reward:

    Good evening everyone, Advocates!
This is my post-work beer after a long day, I think many of you know this well.

Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, Florida, USA) - CUBANO-STYLE ESPRESSO - Brown Ale (5,5%)

    Can.
Deep brown color, dense. Abundant, creamy and tasty foam (like that of cappuccino).
In the mouth the body is extremely drinkable and slides off easily. Moderate carbonation.
In the mouth the hints of cappuccino dominate (for the delicacy of the toasted hints and creaminess that pervades the taste of the coffee) and of milk chocolate, but also of almond, walnut and a final sweet touch that almost recalls the whipped cream that is put in some variants of espresso (for example our local "Moroccan coffee").
Light malty caramel notes emerge in the background and remain in the background.
Easy to drink but absolutely satisfying: soft and that releases all the characterizing elements in a decidedly balanced way.
Perhaps with a slightly more structured body I would have appreciated it even more, but considering that it professes itself as a Brown Ale it is absolutely in line with the structure of the historical British model.
Very high quality / price ratio.
I would have the temptation of a nice "Toscano Antico", but it would certainly cover the beer, it would take something more velvety to smoke (or something more peaty to drink, and that’s in the cellar).
