See, I kinda hate it. I mean, we all know that late fall mean SN Celebration Ale. But I sorta miss (pre-internet) walking into a store after work and being greeted by a stack of Celebration Ale.

"Whoa! My old friend! Good to see ya!"

Instead, on the 'net it's being discussed right after the Fourth of July holiday and then someone posts this sort of thread and I start looking for it every time I shop for beer. The constant disappoint! Then I read about people buying it, drinking it, doing the "It's not as good as last year..." thing while I'm still Celebration-less!

So that when it finally hits the NJ shelves (later than every other state, I start to think as my paranoia kicks in) it's sort of a let-down.

    It's not "Whoa:astonished:" it's "'About time..:slight_frown:"

"Yeah, yeah - I've finally got a case
(not anymore) six-pack --- after numerous trips, the stores beer guys' "Uh, maybe next week?" answers and countless posts from others about it..."

Will keep my eyes open in CT. Would have not expected cans. One of my annual favorites!

I swear it’s been in cans several times but I must be dreaming.

Could give zero f’s what format it’s in, just want it in me. Think I’ll grab a keg this year.

It was a part of the fresh hop pack a few years ago.

I was going to see if I could find that mix pack, ya beat me to it! I am enjoying watching the untapped check-ins and seeing if people have posted getting it from a package store as of yet. So far, I’ve been mainly drafts!

That was an excellent mixed 12 pack from Sierra Nevada. Glad I was able to pick one up! And they should definitely bring this one back!

Just found the first Untappd Can check-in with photo proof and I believe it's in North Carolina so it's starting it's journey!!

Finally finishing up my Oktoberfest fix, had enough pumpkin ales, always followed by SNCA season. Fall is the best season for beer IMO.

Fort Point Market posted they have it! 12-packs priced at $16.99 too. I’m on the Cape and heading back to Boston later today or tomorrow, so hopefully I can snag some soon!

That’s some great news! I saw someone posted that they found it in NH already! I’ll stop in at my local place and see if I can order a keg.

I love SN but they have horrible distribution to NJ. I was so excited years ago when they announced their east coast brewery thinking that finally I will be able to drink hyper fresh(a month old or younger) SN, but I was wrong. I am sure celebration will be hitting NJ as it enters it's third month of age which is not terrible but damn North Carolina isn't that far from NJ.

Any how of course I'm still looking forward to this one as I do each and every year.

I know this isn’t Celebration but I got my hands on this yesterday. Bottled 9/21. Resin dank and grassy. Bitter, citric (mostly grapefruit) finish. Awesome, as usual.
