Good day BAs! Rain is just beating down here - getting the morning paper can just wait. I wanted to switch to the e-version but Mrs. Lizard prefers the paper version. Today's New Breakfast Beer, from @Roy_Hobbs in NBS BIF #14, thanks man!



An OK IPA but I don't know that I'd call it a NEIPA. Seems a bit weak overall, particularly when considering previous examples from this brewery. Rating 3.48, rDev -15.7%.

A confused look.

Then I did something that never helps - I "sang" the lyrics to her.

"Ok??"

After playing it for her, she said she didn't recognize the song. Maybe y'all do.

 

I've been enjoying the KBS variant that @mschrei is drinking this morning. That's David Gilmour playing guitar on the Kate Bush video. He discovered her.

 

I didn't know that. Also, took me a while to find some guitars

The one part in the middle of the Kate Bush video is vaguely reminiscent of a part in the middle Another Brick in the Wall, Pt 2 video.

@Danmullens1 - Thanks for the condolences, and sorry the Brewers did not advance. The Astros are the default only team I hope wins this season, can't stand the other three teams. I won't watch the game tomorrow, but will enjoy Bears schadenfreude if the Packers stick it up the Bears you know where tomorrow.

Taste is marvelous. This is so good on so many levels it's hard to find a place to start. Floral hoppiness is in perfect balance with the rest. Malt is rich without being heavy, sweet without being cloying, full while remaining clean and a perfect example of when just enough is enough. Malt, yeast and hops all work together in a harmonious complexity that is seamless from start to finish.
