Well, I'll follow up to say it was a great time! Was a little late to arrive in order to treat our DD to pizza at Fellini's down the street beforehand per usual. But due to the ABV of a lot of options, 3 hours instead of 3.5 is plenty.

Each of the newcomers I mentioned above brought some nice options. Had a mojito-inspired beer from 3 Floyds, Tilia triple foeder IPA from Drowned Lands, Cloud 9 DIPA from New Park, and a fruited sour from Vitamin Sea. So many other standouts to even mention, but I was going through Long Live Beerworks' line all night long, hit Mornin' Delight from TG, and Deciduous had a fruited sour my wife did laps for over a 20-minute period!

I had a great time. Loved the T-shirt and sample glass provided. The food from Julian's was awesome per usual, always good to take a 20-30 minute break in the middle.

As for the beer, DFG Utopia barrel aged stout was a big standout. Was the Deciduous sour Paradise Mojo Painkiller? That one was awesome, best sour of the night.

I'm surprised this event doesn't get more buzz on here. Always the best beer event for me any given year.

Yes that was the one. Far from a traditional sour (OEC and Allagash brought some great ones in that respect), but certainly as far as a fruited beer it was outstanding.
