Thank you, @bottlelogiclindsay. I appreciate your work behind the scenes and answering questions that come up here and all social media platforms; for continuing to ensure a safe, and equitable space not only for guests, but for industry professionals.

I applaud the nuance of your response regarding your attendance and presenting and pouring the beers for Bottle Logic at MBCC. At first, I thought the boycott was the correct response but it got tiring reading the canned responses from every brewery that withdrew from the festival and definitely a cowardly move, to put it harshly. Thank you for pushing the difficult conversation regarding accountability in beer.

 

Ghost Proton would be an appropriately themed Halloween release I think. I’ve been eagerly awaiting batch 2 of that and Hypermash Hydra, both of which are tied for my favorite BL release last year.

 

Hypermash Hydra is my favorite one-off beer of all time from BL. Easy max if they came out with this again.

 

2020 was an amazing year for BL. Probably the most stacked year for incredible stouts since I’ve been following them in 2016.

 

I would agree with this. My first visit to BL was in November of 2016 and while they are always reliable for fantastic stouts, last year into this year has been fabulous. While I don’t tend toward sweeter stouts, Ghost Proton was definitely a favorite of mine. Voltaic Stack and Concentrated Solution were also massive outperforms for me. I’m ready for Darkstar November.

 

Intrepid Orchid, Arborescence, Technical Challenge and Comb the Desert were my top 4 new Stasis bottles the past year or so.

But I haven't tried a few yet...like the Voodoo collab, Mass Action...on deck!

Im considering trying it. But blends from breweries who im not a fan of keep it up. Luckily i have access to both of these

 

Drinking Greyhound Grapefruit IPA right now and i gotta say it blows Grapefruit Slam by Stone out the fuckin water. Even in the rain i love it

Hes refunded me drain pours from bottle logic (pie vs pie and scatter signal) and knows i never buy stuff from them . He wanted me to try it for him because he is unable to due to medical reasons.
So there's my explanation

Thoughts on Dark Rituals? I liked it overall. Doesn't lean one way or another too much. Fairly balanced between both barleywine and stout.

The artwork for it is sick though. Hoping there's a poster or something for it.

 

I actually got straight barleywine. I was struggling to find any DSN characteristics.

Yes, I found your comment to be painfully ironic considering your recent commentary about adjunct stouts in this very thread, especially considering grapefruit flavored IPAs were very last gen, and, dare I say, Ballast Pointy. While I prefer my IPAs to taste like grapefruit solely as a contribution from the hops, I have had a good flavored IPA from time to time. You go ahead and do you, but maybe check the insufferable hypocrisy at the door next time.

Speaking of which

If you never buy stuff from Bottle Logic, and continue to find yourself drain pouring their beer, why do you spend so much time commenting in this thread? We've given you several recommendations, not that you've taken them, and here you are yet again continuing to shit on this brewery you don't like while trying to promote a totally unrelated brewery.

Do you have anything else to add about BL? Because it's starting to seem like you have a very specific axe to grind. Either man up and grind it, or GTFO.

Ive said time and time again i enjoy their IPAs.
Greyhound Grapefruit IPA is a recent release from them ( Bottle Logic)that i thoroughly enjoyed.
How is that shittin on them?
