I occasionally browse that arena and I often wonder which of the MO folks on there are over here as well. I’m sure there is overlap, but doubt anyone is revealing themselves. Quite the side gig.

That's the big leagues, some are still working on their swing in the minors.

first you get the BBT, then you get the bourbon, then you get the cash money.

    Quoting myself here, but…

For context, since I know these jokes are not always well received: Last time I visited MBC (early this year, last year some time?) I was amazed at how many of the easier access SP beers were on there for what accounts to a $5 markup. It is clear to me that at least 1 person has likely used MBC sales of easy access beers to help their overall sales at SP to help them gain access to La Coterie which has ultimately allowed them to land better bottles for both themselves and to sell.

So, while it wouldn’t be my thing, and I know it isn’t likely the thing for the vast majority of people (on here at least), no doubt it is for someone. So, I can’t help but poke fun.

The way they’re scheduling everything is perfect for me. I finally get to tick the Cellar anniversary since it overlaps with the first BBT weekend.

I really want to try that “chocolate” recipe. That one sounds like a winner

Instagram post indicates they are building a "online fulfillment counter", which is getting installed this week. I have to assume this means that it won't just be shelfies (and BBT and La Coterie) that are sold online, but at least some reasonable proportion of 'hot' releases will continue to be done online - even if some are still in person. That's always good news.

This is where the current "online fulfillment counter" is, except the current (or prior) online fulfilment counter is made up of temporary tables. I imagine they plan to continue the online orders and are just making a more permanent counter to blend in with the current bar aesthetic.

While my SP drinking experiences are sporadic, it’s always a pleasure when I do get to have some in the house. Big thanks to @fo1ksguitar for proxying.

This is lovely. A “could drink it all the time” beer. Nelson done well is sublime. Earthy, succulent, but finishing dry. Love this style and this is right there for me with things like Hill E. and Sue, etc.

Damn I was planning to go sometime in November too but pushed it off to next year for a potential return of the invitational. What a week! Hopefully everyone has a wonderful time
