Pour 1 ounce of a 16 ounce can of Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout in a 24 ounce snifter, with 1-2 ounces Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup.

Heat in the microwave on high for 10 seconds, then stir, then heat for another 10 seconds on high and stir. Add 1 ounce of Wild Turkey 101, stir, then add the rest of the Old Rasputin.

Give it a try and put your own spin on it!

    How dare you.

    Why would you microwave Raspy:nauseated_face:

The more important question is: Why would you use Hershey's syrup? Get chocolate that matches the quality of the beer.

    Agreee 100%
You can literally make your own chocolate syrup.
Hersheys is akin to Youngs Double Chocolate Stout Quality:sweat_smile:
Don't mean to talk shit but this is a Hard NO.
Hunter Thompson doesn't approve of this abuse of Wild Turkey.

Better yet, drink the Old Rasputin with a side of some really nice* bourbon. No microwave or syrup required.
*"nice" meaning not Wild Turkey. Not that Wild Turkey is "bad" but it is not up to the quality of the stout.

had it....agree to disagree, because debating bourbons is like debating beers; it is all what the drinker prefers. I stick with my Garrison Bros. Small Batch from Texas.

One to two ounces sounds like a lot of chocolate syrup for 13 ounces of beer/liquor, and I don't see how it can make that blend of flavors attain the taste of a barrel. Nice try at innovation, but I'll pass.

I like the idea...you don't have to use Rasputin and Wild Turkey...I use to love mixing guinness and jack daniels...never thought to put chocolate in it...I'd try that with some dark chocolate maybe

I think the Raspy brewers would rather you try one of their Anniversary beers, they are quite delicious in their own right

Considering so many of us are complaining that the BA rye and bourbon Raspy is no where to be found, I’m good to try this for fun as I have 1 Regular Raspy in my fridge. I’ve got an assortment of bourbons and even one or 2 rye whiskeys to play around with.
