I’ll try to do so. I’m planning to be there Thursday thru Sunday.

I’m very curious myself to see what the crowd is like this week. First big SP deal in 20 months but still some Covid concerns so not sure what to expect. With the additional space outside I think there will be plenty of room each day.

Last cellar Anny I got there pretty early to get a seat at the bar and there were probably 8-10 of of us there hanging out that morning but really wasn’t necessary. There wasn’t a patio back then but with the extra room out in the road, seems like it was pretty chill and plenty of room for everyone there best I can remember.

I’m looking forward to it regardless! Love my trips to SP!

And then you disappeared to “get breakfast” while the rest of us helped Karen set up the barricades, tables, etc. Conveniently reappeared about the time we were finishing up. I bet @OakvilleKGB remembers that.

Uhhhh…. I remember helping Karen set up the barricades AND showing up with platters of chicken mini’s from CFA. You’re welcome.

I promise to resolve this as an impartial judge. In this case, it is perfectly acceptable to gift your judge a bottle.

It probably won’t affect my decision. But why risk not gifting? Be generous.

Not that I can attend anyway, but does anyone have any inside info regarding Sunday and the flights? Are these all limited offerings, or offered at a crazy good deal, or what's the deal with the fanfare associated with highlighting flights. If Cidre's are on draft, that's nothing that special. Whiskey bottles obviously stay open, so that's not that special. Wine is the one caveat, in that anything that doesn't get consumed by the next day is obviously waste.

Maybe I'm overlooking something here. But, unless these are special offerings, I guess I'm just not understanding the advertisement.

I don't believe they offer flights of anything normally, including beer. (If that's all it is, I agree it seems strange to highlight so much.)

Sunday won’t be anything crazy unless they tap something or add special on site bottle’s unannounced. The Cellar doesn’t seem to get highly allocated whiskeys because they don’t sell the bottom shelf liquor required to get them. They do have a nicely curated selection though.

Woof at D8. It was pretty bad at the invitational and that was almost 2 years ago.

Just left after grabbing my BBT bottle/package. It was packed. People were standing on the sidewalk drinking bbt

Yep. Just got here. Sidewalk only at the moment. Inside is pretty busy, but room to move. (Just not to sit.)

If anyone's around, swing by and grab some curb.

So to confirm, all seats inside and patio are full?

Correct. I sipped for a bit outside, but no place to sit, and not super comfortable with the crowd. Still more people showing up than leaving at the moment.

I’m outside right now with D8 in hand. Honestly, very boozy and devoid of the chocolate and other enjoyable flavors I appreciated from the D15 I had on site a month ago.

Got there at 3:15 and it was great. No line, some spots outside, perfect weather. Sounds like there will be plenty of BBT draft. I'd love if they do more draft (or bottle pours) of the big beers, even if just for a day or two during the week (even though I know the exclusivity/rarity is part of the draw for some people).

How does BBT21 compare to past iterations?
