    Good new week everyone,l Advocates!
Here a beer that I drank last night at a local pub (@BuskersPub) and that particularly impressed me among those I drank.
Microbirrificio Resina - STURDY PORTER - Porter (7,5%)

    On pump.
Beautiful cap of soft, beige foam, creamy and with a roasted aftertaste.
    Impenetrable black.
In the mouth flat, smooth, flowing body.
Predominant flavors of coffee and dark chocolate. Initially you can also see a note of anise, while as the beer rests a little in the glass approaching room temperature, the roasted coffee and dark bitter chocolate become more intense cover this scent.
    Toasted, bitter and very drinkable.
Those 7.5% surprised me too, because they are really difficult to identify ... I repeat, in my opinion, it has all the characteristics that give it a drinkability of a 6% / 6.5% beer.
    Back to work !

Good day Advocates! Thanks to @Jack_14 for todays thread and this day is nice and easy for me. Beginning with this lovely drop from Sawyer: Chainsaw Squatch Down Under 2XIPA. Delicate and delish!
    Keep on smiling and cheers!

After a very non-productive day of seeing The Eternals and napping, it’s beer time! Starting with Mellow Gold by Stigbergets.

Here's a new one for me and again from Sawyer: 2 STROKE HAZE HAZY IPA. A remix with Simcoe. Interestingly I just ran my Husqvarna 350 chainsaw outa fuel for the winter on Saturday. How cornvenient. This brew is 5.7%ABV. Holy buckets is this good. Pillowy soft, taste follows smell: big mango, pineapple and papaya med-bodied. Rather inviting. It's even a bit more smooth than it's big mountain gorilla brother Chainsaw Squatch. Very pleased with this purchase. Actually kinda crushable. There's 3 more tins in the stube!
    Cheers folks!

I decided to open what was perhaps the most prized beer in my stash. Goose Island Brewery Yard. 5 and a halfish years old. I don't hang onto beers because I like to age them... I just don't want them to go away. I had two bottles. One I had within a year or so of being bottled, and this is the second. No regrets.

This one goes out to @patto1ro

Sitting back, convalescing and enjoying the first season of Kojak and a Pumpkin Spiced Oktoberfest from Broken Bow Brewery in Tuckahoe, NY. This is not a pumpkin beer, rather an Oktoberfest with pumpkin pie spices. I have had it in the past, but on this go, I find I am really able to appreciate the subtlety in the composition. As we all know, subtlety can be a rarity among beers these days.

Turning Point Beer -- Duke Silver (Oktoberfest)

    3.8/5 rDev +8%
    look: 4.5 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.75

Dark amber body; moderate, slow-rising carbonation; big, billowy head, soft and sculpted. Nice toasted grain aroma, slightly sweet; light caramel; faint esters. Mild caramel taste with a moderate hop bitterness. Medium body; fair residual sugar presence; a bit sweet, a bit dry in the mouthfeel.

The looks are quite stunning for the beer. The rest of its qualities a quite good if not spectacular.

Poured at 44 °F; no canning date noted on the can.

Decided to follow up with a Notorious LIC, also from Broken Bow Brewery in Tuckahoe, NY. Really a rich, enjoyable, caramel malty delight. Not sure if it's an homage, but in tribute:
