Thanks to this thread I’m 3 for 3 on the JA locator tool. Didn’t realize Munich Fest was seeing distro and found out it’s less than a mile from my house at smaller store I don’t visit as often.

They also collaborated with julios liquors and released a Framinghammer aged in julios store pick Blantons and weller barrels along with a lagerwine aged in barrels from the same aforementioned distillers.

 

I'm not a fan of the new look, that being said it won't change whether I buy them . Somehow this doesn't fit into their brand to me, it's a bid too modern but maybe I'm just accustomed to their old look and once I see it in bottles it will look nice.

I may not buy all versions, and I think there are a few missing that I would like to see but looking forward to them nonetheless.

I've been looking for Red Tape, their winter seasonal. I look forward to it every year but, assuming the JA site's up to date, it's not yet available at the brewery, or anywhere else so far as I can find. Anyone seen it? I hope it hasn't been cut from the rotation.

 

In know we are in the month, but website says it’s a November-January release. So maybe not out just yet.

 

That's my hope. The broad availability of Shipping Out of Boston makes me worry they might decide they can do without another amber lager in their lineup (and I think I've been quick to panic since they culled Saxony).

 

Realized this weekend that the "new look" fits more into their current branding than their old look, lol. Even better I've been buying beers from them that look similar and didn't think twice. I'll check myself out now.

 

No need to panic. Just saw in their newsletter that Red Tape is out this weekend at the brewery and hits distribution next week.

Whoever leads Jack's Abby marketing team should be fired on the spot for the maple barrel aged french toast framinghammer label. 10 years in and ale is on a label?!?!?! Embarrassing lack of knowledge of the brand and beer. @JacksAbbyBrewing Baltic Porter is a lager, not an ale.

 

Where does it say ale on the label?

 

Bottom/base of the label, under the beer name, says ale aged in bourbon barrels with cinnamon and vanilla.

I see it now. Can’t have been an oversight. Curious if there was a change in the base they used for the adjunct versions
