Yeah I got there at 1130. Saw the crowd and immediately turned around and went to 2nd shift. Came back around 330 to see how it was and it was about the same. Grabbed some Bubble Wrap to go and headed out. I think the days of waiting in line for hours for the chance at trying a beer are behind me.

This pretty much sums it up. I also struggle with understanding this concept as well. But yeah, there are folks who just manipulate the value. I. Sure it takes several people and they work together.

unless you want to end up like Will Smith in Enemy of the State, i’d just put it out of your mind and go with whatever “value” they decide to set.

A question to people that proxy all the time:

The person that I have proxying for me is also planning to proxy for a couple others. Mine and his are the same weekend, but some others are a different weekend. He wants to go next Sunday (during our pickup window), but he was told he couldn’t, that he would have to wait till Monday.

This seems to go counter to everything people said leading up to the BBT purchase. Anyone have any info if this person was just having a bad day, or didn’t know what they were talking about?

When I was there yesterday I was at the pickup counter and the guy next to me asked if he could pick his up then even though his pickup was next week and the lady behind the counter said sure that wouldn't be a problem. FYI let your proxy know that when they get to the pickup counter they have forms you fill out with everyone's name and order number that they are picking up for and they will fill the orders after that.

I guess he could email them and see for sure and maybe even give everyones name and order number ahead of time so they can take their time and prefill the order Im sure if he works with them they will work with you.

Yea, that’s what I was thinking. Just seemed really strange that they have him so much pushback. Not like it is during anny week even. Just seemed really weird. This is encouraging, though.

I'd like to have a word with those individuals.

They no longer prefill any orders. They don’t have the space to store fulfilled orders in the brewery or cellar while waiting for them to be picked up.

By the way, apparently my proxy did email, it call, and the response he got back was basically the policy, while also indicating he’d need to pick up on a Monday, not the weekend, OR pickup on every weekend for which he is proxying for someone.

    I will call today.

My sense is that they are giving the same official policy for any written response. But from what I can tell if you show up a weekend where you have at least one pickup they are not going to keep you from picking up proxy orders from other weekends.

For those of you who didn't max out your cards this weekend, bottle pours of MJK at the brewery today. $6/oz.

Sweet Jesus. What a Monday pour.

It's going to be a long week in the office before I get to make it across the state.

Looks like FdF release on Friday. In person only. Allocations based on turnout.

Seems like FdF has been all over the place in years past. What's the probability of this lasting all weekend, given BBT pickups are this weekend?
