you ain't getting a Bake with Cali Gold. It was going 1:1 with the new batch of ADWTD TO originally. At that value you need 4-5+ to reach the value of one Bake, but also no one is going to want that many of this beer. To pull a big bottle like that you need a solid anchor for the trade. Cali Goldi is 3 Sons attempt at generating some hype, but the results don't seem to measure up to the artificially generated hype. Not many beers hold up to being still like this, it seems like they were just trying to get people to think "MJK" to drive hype. Also 3 Sons as a whole have been pretty disappointing as far as the quality of their beers since they've opened

How close is Elemental Gorilla with coconut to Toppling Waters or Generational?

 

In the neighborhood IMO, so worth a shot, but I think something like 1:1 with Vigneronne is more realistic if you want to close something faster.

 

I think Assassin is above and over by a bit. Westbrook values have been steadily decreasing over time, more so than that of Toppling Goliath. I think it is a 1:1+ type of proposition.

Rye BBT is probably worth around 1.5 KBBS if that's helpful.

Rye BBT closed recently on FB for DBMITW and M10 bourbon (2020) (2:1)

 

For the full package? just saw it close for a BBT5 on FB.

 

I mean if they're happy with it then its fine, volume trades like that are hard to close without a cornerstone bottle

I can only tell you what my personal preference would be, which over the years has been a fairly good measurement of what others seem to do in these type of situations:

Better anchor needed.

Lots of people ended up with 2 bottles, some got 4, 6, etc. -And, yes, I have seen people with 6.

Tete, while awesome, was still part of a package involving BBT, and lots seem to be trying to 'unload' it in other trades.

I don't think Gin SdF or ODB are going to be enough to make up the difference.

Lastly, if I had a KBBS, I'm going for either quality or quantity. You're offering quantity, but again, in general not bottles that I view as worthy of making up that difference.
