I actually disagree. I was blown away by the cognac barrel beer that won silver and as much as I love VSOJ, I would have swapped the medal order.

 

Pre-sale email is out. No VIP bonus stuff.

 

While I overall prefer the in person draft releases, I still really miss those crowlers.

 

Anyone else not get a confirmation email? See the charge on my cc, and took a screen shot of the order confirmation at checkout.

Anyone know what the general cutoff for points is for presale?

 

Yeah I’m not worried but as I make more purchases at Rev I’m just curious as to how it works. I’m only at 460 so I wasn’t surprised I’m not in this presale.

 

The last time someone calculated it (under the old system), it was figured it was a rolling total that added up to around a spend of $750-800 a year.

 

The VIP presale is typically based on points earned in the previous 12-18 months, not lifetime points. When COVID hit, they did lower the threshold for points, so instead of 250-300 VIPs, it was doubled to near 600.
Of course, I'm sure the number of VIPs will fluctuate each release depending on how many 4pks are available and the expected demand. Those that missed the cutoff but thought they should have made it, or made it before, have sent emails to Revolution inquiring about their status, and have received nice responses back.

 

It took about 45 minutes for my order confirmation email to show up.

 

I don’t think they shift the level at which they offer VIP/early access depending on the release. I could be wrong though.

Anecdotally, I have purchased 1 of every Deep Woods 4 pk release since 2018, and only attend the taproom during releases, and have consistently gotten the pre-release email since the first release of 2019.

 

I just checked and have 547 but I'm not sure how the running tally works now that they've switched to using toast. If I total up everything since they switched I'm at 1048 points since April 2021.

 

Really just wanting to accumulate enough for the VSOR release! Thanks!

 

Per the Rev Rewards FAQ, the cutoff seems to be fixed for the time being:

Only points earned in Jan 2019- Feb 2021 go toward VIP Pre-Sale eligibility for the 2021-2022 DWS season. The top 600 points earners during this period will receive access to these perks.

I was under the impression the vanilla deth would go on sale in the online shop this morning like all other releases that go on sale the Monday morning before the weekend pick up window. Have I missed something? Thanks.

 

For the last few releases at least it's been RevRewards pre-sale on Monday, public release Tuesday.

 

Holy crap this years cafe deth is fantastic. Making me really want to seek out supermassive

 

Supermassive= light barrel and heavy coffee. Cafe deth=more barrel, chocolate up the you know what, and lots of barrel!
