I watched a guy trade a rrari for my rod my comfort. The collective cringing that swept across the crowd was amazing.

From when I went at 3:30 on Sunday there is a LOT of cases of variants left. Like 20-30 cases on that table where they were selling the "Random Draw Bottles".

 

But was there any Hanjee left?

 

There was plenty of 2020 Handjee, but they are completely out of 2021 handjee.

There was definitely a Mfer My Rod My Comfort Left.

 

They are holding that in case I go back for more vintages and they only want to serve me disappointment.

 

I am a bit stunned that more Dark lord and Dark lord variants are not in the trade forums and on those unnamed secondary sites. … Is it cool to drink Dark lord again?

Yeah the values are dropping. Handjee used to be a $500 beer. Then around 2017-2018 they made more and it started to drop and settled around $300. Now it is more like $200.

Also beer traders these days just aren't hyped for it. Vanilla Bean stouts are a dime a dozen these days and 3 Floyds in general does not carry the cache it used to. More modern beer fans seem to have a pretty negative view of 3 Floyds overall.

 

it’s funny like that. when it does seem to come up, often times it’s DL variant for DL variant.

A little off-topic, but one of my favorite games to play at bottleshares is a variation of the Price is Right with the secondary market sites. I visit them to study.

 

Hellaboozie is hella delicious. Have not had handjee yet but this is my favorite variant of the 5 I’ve had.
